The country of Zimbabwe, whose economy is in collapse with 80 % unemployment and a 200% inflation rate is due to head the UN’s Committee of Sustainable development.

The Commission, created in 1993, is the UN’s main forum for discussing the relationship between development and the environment and is expected to issue recommendations on climate change next week.

Well, given the economic collapse, one may be certain that Zimbabwe’s carbon footprint is admirable.
