Review of the CD

scb.jpgIn a time where jazz seems to be in a perpetual state of confusion there are some things you can still relies on.  There are a hand full of Jazz artist that no matter what state of the music business is in, they are guaranteed to give you a good product Stanley Clarke is one of those artist.  His new CD “The Stanley Clarke Band” is just what we need for the summer with cuts like the socially conscience “How Is The Weather Up There” and a track that pays homage to a jazz legend “Sonny Rollins” by the way that is the name of the song as well. This CD is contagious you will enjoy what you hear. On my rating scale of steering wheels this CD ranks 4 out of 5.
