You tube seems to have everyone on it, from Jihadis to the Pinoy bishops to Fred Thompson to your favorite candidate.

But there is a new gal on You Tube, and tongues are waggin.

Queen Elizabeth, whose website is here,  now has her own You Tube Channel.

Yes, the World War II veteran who has ruled England for the last fifty six years, and who gave her first TV address fifty years ago, has now expanded into the age of the internet.

The queen is said to be avid about using new technology to reach a wider, more diverse audience. Last year her Christmas message was released as a podcast.

Checking out the YOUTUBE site, one can find short videos of not just the Queen but of her own mother’s wedding and a tour of one of the royal Gardens.

One doubts that she will get more hits than Stephen Cobert telling off Bill O’Reilly but not bad for an elderly lady who a few years ago was being written off as out of touch.
