I’d say the LapTop story just got a lot more interesting. All roads lead to Cloudflare.com, but they are mere pawns. If you are unfamiliar with the story, here is part one and part two.

I am sure that most people have never heard of Cloudflare, they mean well, they protect web sites from DDOS attacks.

Every web site has a unique address, an IP address, the format is nnn.nnn.nnn. Cloudflare acts as a reverse proxy. It hides the real IP address. 123.123.123, becomes 345.234.321, or whatever. If you have a beef with a website, cloudflare hides the real IP of the site, and the geographical location. This makes it very difficult to track down ‘sketchy’ web sites’.

I have found 4 websites that meet the criteria.

I’ll bet a dollar they are being run by the same people, they advertise exclusively on FaceBook, and mostly sell the same products. In fact, with some digging they all sell the same products. The site layout, fine print, and ‘feel’ of the sites make it easy to spot. FaceBook don’t seem to care what the product is, as long as the ad is payed for.
