State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. is the beneficiary of a three year contract with the NFL.  The contract allows State Farm to sponsor the event, and use of the league’s trademarks in television promotions and on the NFL’s internet site (  Mark Gibson, assistant vice president for State Farm’s advertising department expressed his excitement saying, “This sponsorship allows State Farm to communicate through a channel that reaches millions of people and has an incredibly loyal fan base.”
