A special training session relating to asbestos has been held recently in Milton Keynes, England, with the aim being to educate public liability insurance trainees about the dangers and risks associated with asbestos exposure.

The training session was held at the local college in Milton Keynes and was attended by health and safety officials who were providing the information to the trainees. The training provided part of a national campaign by health authorities to increase awareness of asbestos dangers across the country.

A video from a campaign supporter who himself has the asbestos cancer called mesothelioma was shown as part of the training. In the video Christopher Morgan detailed his progress since undergoing treatment for the asbestos related cancer.

Apprentices have been shown where they are most likely to come into contact with asbestos, which is the cause of a range of serious health problems such as respiratory disease, scarring of the lungs, and mesothelioma.
