The wizard in the Wizard of Oz wasn’t so much a wizard at all. But in the end he did have some sage advice that he bestowed upon Dorothy to give her direction and guidance. I’m no wizard either. But I have enough of a clue that it might benefit you from reading these posts here and there.
Anyone who follows my posts knows I discuss numerous issues revolving around personal security. My fascination with the bad guy and what you need to do to protect yourself is what gets me out of bed every day. I don’t worry so much, but I’m concerned. I see news reports every single day of people of all ages being violated in ways that bother me to the point of having to act. And there seems to be no end to it.
I feel that if I don’t do something about it then who will? Fortunately there are companies that I’m grateful to work with that support my beliefs and provide products and services to mitigate any harm that might come to you. So they help me spread the message and I thank you for coming back to learn and when needed, supporting them.
There are a few issues that I tap into every week that there is a ton to write about and unfortunately the issues will never go away. Sex offenders make the news multiple times daily and I could write 100 articles about them. They attack children and often attack women, and sometimes men. Children and their parents, elderly and women on the dating scene are readers I want to educate.
I find that predators naturally go after those who may be considered a bit more vulnerable or are often entering situations where they are more vulnerable. Either way, my goal is to empower the reader and provide them with options and solutions so they don’t end up a victim.
Going forward you will see numerous posts on sex offenders, who they are and where they are, dating in all its forms and how to protect yourself, criminals in our society and who they have access to and how to protect yourself from them. This will be a constant beating of the drum that at times may be repetitive, but repetition as they say is definitely the mother of skill.
I always appreciate your feedback and comments. Thank you so much for your time and attention, and please keep your head up and pay attention.

I guess it is just the Haleigh / Caylee ones. Not sure what happened over the weekend but I’m sure it was the last straw for Jan and Simon. Time to grow up people!
I’m sure you’ve never written an article on the other side of this issue. There are a growing number of individuals who do not believe in the registry. There have been many negative consequences, and we’ve come to assume everyone on the registry. You sound British so I assume you’re not in the States? In the States the registry is public. There are a lot of vigilante attacks and crazy laws in the US.
It is interesting to note that a number of the major missing kids cases in the V as of late involved people NOT on the list, such as Kyron. The most likely scenario is parental involvement. Or Sandra Cantu, killed by a female Sunday school teacher with no sex offense record.
We’re gripped by Predator Panic but it is too narrowly focused on the wrinkled trenchcoat wearing stranger. We know little about the truth.

Stop the abuse and murder of the children in the U.S.

In the United States, there are close to 800,000 registered sex offenders.
Yet, the number of new cases, many of which never make the news, are comited by a dad, brother, uncle, grandfather or a family friend who is not a registered sex offender.
Boogyman cases like Couey and Gardner are terrifying, but the real danger lies at home with people you trust.
If one child can be saved from a SO then would you not agree the registry is worth having? If you don’t agree, then perhaps you’d like to be the one to tell the next parent of a victim raped and murdered by a SO that the registry is wrong.
There is no “simple fix” to this problem. I’m for stiffer penalties as I don’t believe this is something you can cure. Once out, offenders repeat the offense.
Am I for putting a teenager who engages in sexting on a registry? NO! But I am for having a registry.
The One, I am NOT sorry to say this but BOO HOO to the Sex Offender who gets attacked and maimed by a vigilante!!!!!
Go to “DreamCatchers'” website, read about ALL of the sex offenders that get out of jail and in an hour or so they are molesting or raping AGAIN and then the police can’t find them because they NEVER REGISTERED. Ugh! I am so tired of this “I feel soo sorry for the criminal”. It makes me SICK!
And just so you know, statistics state that a child molester MAY have over 50 victims BEFORE they are caught, hence – Melissa Huckabee. Gosh, I wish you criminal lovers would do some research.
