HOLLYWOOD socialite Paris Hilton has been scheduled to appear in Los Angeles Superior Court on May 4, following the violation of her probation.

On February 28, Hilton was sighted driving along Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles without her headlights on.

When police stopped the 26-year-old, they discovered that the hotel heiress had been sentenced to 36 months probation, the previous month, as well as alcohol education stopped her and $1,500 in fines after pleading no contest to charges from an alcohol-related reckless driving branching from an arrest last September.

LA prosecutors are hoping that Hilton’s probation will be annulled as she persisted to drive on a suspended license after her appearance in court in January.

The bombastic blonde was not present during the court hearing in Los Angeles yesterday, but her lawyer Howard Weitzman has laid claims that he believes the matter will soon be resolved.

The star is currently filming the 5th season of her reality show with best friend Nicole Ritchie, ‘The Simple Life’.
