The guilt or innocence of Senator Larry Craig is between him and Minnesota judicial authorities. His moral state is a question for God. His political future, if any, should be decided either by the people of the State of Idaho, or by Larry Craig himself.
Solicitation in a public restroom — of any sort — should be viewed with repugnance and strongly discouraged. Public restrooms should be G-rated to the very best of our ability to enforce such a code. Get a hotel room, guys & gals.
My only political recommendation is that, if the Senator decides to resign, that he not be replaced by Rep. Mike Simpson (ID-2), who has a long history of poor votes on matters relating to spending. Simpson likes spending money. I prefer keeping my money. I prefer not to send another tax-money drunk senator to Washington.
