Comprised of Andy Edwards (IQ) on Drums, John Jowitt (IQ, Jadis, Arena) on Bass, Clive Nolan (Pendragon, Arena, Caamora) on Keyboards, and Mark Westwood (Martin Orford Band, Celluloid) on Guitar, Neo is a leader in the progressive rock genre, some would even say super group. This DVD was recorded live in Poland during a 2006 tour, and showcases the great talents of this group. I have to admit that I felt I had been transported back to the early 80’s while I watched this DVD. Clive Nolan on keyboards not only looks like Rick Wakeman of the Strawbs, but has the mannerisms and playing style as well. I was hooked!

Alan Reed is a guest vocalist, and does a superb job that reminded me of Peter Gabriel at his very best. John Jowitt, Clive Nolan, and Nick Barrett, all take turns behind the microphone, and all do a fabulous job. This is one concert that I would have liked to have attended.

If you are not familiar with Neo they have a Web site that has some sampler videos, I recommend that you check these out.

With a total running time of 140 minutes, this DVD is great value. Additional extras include interviews with John Jowitt and Clive Nolan, and some footage from ROSfest 2006. It is distributed through MVD and is available on their web site.
