All the snow is melting, the grass is growing and the leaves are starting to appear on all of the trees.  That means that spring is turning into summer and it’s time to find your playmates and get your fun on.  Now you can bring home a whole new set of friends to play with and you can do it right now!

Starting this May 5th, now available on DVD from Lionsgate Productions and HIT Entertainment comes the latest collection of best-of episodes from all of our best friends!  HIT Favorites – Playtime Pals is ready to steam right out of your television screen and build up a fury bigger then any fire or dinosaur in your living room with this great new collection of episodes.  Bring home this fantastic set of seven wonderful and highly entertaining episodes today!

There are six regular episodes in this collection of playtime fun.  In the first, “Thomas And The Lighthouse,” Thomas needs to deliver a new light bulb to the lighthouse so the Harvest Festival can go on as planned.  In the second, “Summer,” it’s the first day of summer and Barney and all of his friends decide to have an active day outside.  In the third, “Life’s A Beach,” Fife and all her friends live in a garden, but the find a way to make their own beach since they can’t make it to one.  In the fourth, “Splasher’s Two Stops,” Bob the Builder and his Can-Do Crew need to build two stops along the river for the bus and they need them now.  In the fifth, “King Of The Jungle,” there’s a whole bunch of summer madness going down and Fireman Sam isn’t quite sure if he can handle it all.  In the sixth, “The Swimming Pool,” everyone goes to the swimming pool, but someone’s afraid of swimming.  Can the gang still enjoy their day off?  The episodes in this collection come from such shows as Thomas & Friends, Barney, Fifi And The Flowertots, Bob The Builder, Fireman Sam and Kipper.

The special feature included in this DVD collection is a bonus episodes of Roary The Racing Car, “Roary Cleans Up His Act,” the all-new show from the creators and makers of the Bob The Builder series.  Can they have two hit series at one time?  Based off of this bonus episode, yes they can!

Once again, HIT Entertainment has brought together some of the platinum superstars of the genre when it comes to children’s entertainment.  All of these episodes are fun and certainly entertaining, but each also teaches a very important lesson about teamwork and friendship and being a good person.  My favorite was, as usual, the one about Thomas because I grew up with his stories.  There is not much better company for your children as they grow up either.  Get them this DVD and you’ll see exactly what I mean.

Bring this home and you’re guaranteed to be a HIT!

HIT Entertainment is one of the world’s leading independent children’s entertainment producers and has teamed up with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment to release a whole set of child content and themed DVD boxed sets.
