Guess who’s back?  It’s Jason!  He’s back and it’s the last movie before everything gets real weird and too crazy for even that insane slasher.  There’s no telekineses, no traipsing through Manhattan and certainly no blasting into outer space.  This is the last hurrah of what made this series so memorable and now you can bring it home on DVD for you to watch whenever you want!

Starting this June 16th, now available on DVD from Paramount Studios Home Entertainment comes the horror movie that resurrected an evil which was long thought to have disappeared, much to the fear of everyone alive.  Friday The 13th – Part VI – Jason Lives – Deluxe Edition is ready to shock it’s way right through your television screen and bring that same bunch of cheesy violence, horrific vivisections and copious amounts of blood straight into your living room.  Bring home this DVD today!

Jason is still dead from two movies ago.  Yet Tommy Jarvis, now no longer so young, still worries that Jason is alive and is out there, just ready to slash some more throats.  So, in order to finally set his mind at ease, Tommy goes out to where Jason is buried and digs up his body, just to verify that he remains dead.  Of course, lightening strikes Jason’s body and brings him back to life.  Now people are being killed right and left and it’s all leading up to a great showdown between these two great enemies.  Who will survive this time?  This movie stars Thom Matthews, Jennifer Cooke, David Kagen, Kerry Noonan, Renee Jones, Darcy DeMoss, Tom Fridley and C.J. Graham and was directed by Tom McLoughlin.

The special features included in this DVD are an optional audio commentary from director Tom McLoughlin and the cast and crew, more lost tales from Camp Blood, another look at the Crystal Lake massacres, some great deleted scenes, a look at Jason himself, a fantastic featurette about the making of this movie and the original theatrical trailer.

Jason Voorhees has got to be one of the luckiest characters in the history of movies.  Of course, he’s not lucky in the aspect that he is killed in every movie and severely damaged several times besides.  But every single time he dies, the craziest and most opportune things happen to bring him back to life, making him pretty near indestructible.  This movie is very enjoyable because all of the slaying and bloodletting rises up to completely unrealistic and wonderful levels.  All of the special features make this movie even more fun to watch, so bring it home today and you will not regret that decision in the least.

This is one Friday you won’t forget!
