Energon Ultimate Collection

I don’t understand why the Japanese love fighting robots so much.  Even their gundam suits, or whatever they’re called, just seems so strange to me.  Ninjas are one thing and anime is another.  Giant radioactive monsters are awesome, so it’s not like they’re all just crazy or anything.  The whole fascination with making something and then having them fight is just beyond me.  Nonetheless, now there’s a whole lot more of it available for you on DVD.

Starting this December 16th, now available as a seven disc boxed set from Hasbro Entertainment and Paramount Studios Home Entertainment comes the best collection of all time when it comes to robots that love to fight.  Transformers – Energon – The Ultimate Collection is ready to come blasting into your living room and transform your boring evenings into something awesome!  Bring home this transformative boxed set today!

At the time of this boxed set, it is ten years after the Unicron battle which led to the destruction of Megatron.  The Autobots and Decepticons have formed an alliance and work together with the humans to find and mine Energon for the good of both humans and robots.  The peace is giving everyone a chance to improve things, but darkness is rearing its head on the horizon.  A group of mysterious evils are lurking and trying to get the Energon before the Transformers do.  Much destruction follows, but who will be left standing?

This seven disc boxed set does not contain any special feature, but let’s be honest.  They don’t need any special feature.  Do you want to know the number one reason why they don’t?  It’s a little something called this boxed set contains 1,092 minutes and 39 seconds of intense robot fighting action.  I don’t even want to do the math to figure out just how many hours that is.  There are 53 episodes!  53!

How could someone not enjoy this much of something?  Yeah, there is the Law of Diminishing Returns, but have you seen how many robots are in this DVD collection?  I thought this was the best of all the different boxed sets about these fighting robots.  It’s more than explosions and poorly dubbed voices, there are also genuine characters in this movie who change and become three dimensional.  The characters are interesting and over the course of the series you get a whole backstory that explains much of what happened in other series as well.  I completely enjoyed this series and I’m sure you will too.  Especially if you already like robots who fight.

This selection of robot episodes in truly Ultimate!

This seven disc set is available at Amazon.com.
