You can read here an overview of another book that claims Hitler did not die in Berlin but escaped to Argentina. I said in my previous post on the subject that I have my own reasons — founded on my own close study of Hitler’s history and psychology — for not believing that.
I am beginning to wonder however — not because of the new book but because of the response to it. The critics of the book say that it is a “consensus” of the experts that Hitler died in Berlin and the publisher should be ashamed for publishing such a book. That is so close to what defenders of the global warming hoax say that my skeptical antennae begin to twitch.
Moreover they admit that the alleged fragment of Hitler’s skull held by the Russians is not in fact Hitler’s and that there was a great deal of confusion in Hitler’s bunkler at the time of the Russian surge into Berlin.
The only “proof” they offer that Hitler died in his Berlin bunker is the testimony from one of Hitler’s closest aides who says that he saw Hitler dead there. The possibility that one of Hitler’s aides might have lied to protect his boss has apparently not occurred to them.
I think I will now have to say that I am agnostic on the matter.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackGood morning. I don’t see why this is important now. Hitler is either dead then or by now. We have bigger problems to solve now. His brand of hate will be around until the end of our world so let’s try to help the current families on the face of the earth.
ITA with you Carol in VA
I use to like BNN but everytime I log in now I see all these stupid blogs.
how about write something inportant like where are all the missing children, the murdered children, the abused children?
Understanding the past, opens the mind to the future.
Good morning Simon. With all due respect, don’t count on it.
Guten Tag Fraulein Carol, I agree with you, Hitler is long dead and over with and there are more important things to face and solve. Its one thing to use the past to regenerate it to do a repeat of it and another to study it. History, like “time” and “tide” can not be kept back, can not be stopped. Adolf Hitler is not at all new to me, but the young people of today are looking into the Third Reich which of course includes Hitler as never before. Because something was evil, murderous, all horrible doesn’t mean there is no or should not be any interest in it. England which was almost destroyed by Germany doesn’t show a negative response to Hitler, or hate the Germans today. In fact the people can’t get enough of it, books fly off the shelves, interest is “high”. Russia agrees on some things of National Socialism I will not discuss here. In fact in Germany, yes in Berlin there is now, government approved, people accepted, an Adolf Hitler museum and also an SS museum elsewhere in Germany, the very castle Himmler leased for 100 years. These are information centers and “NOT” a place to worship or rehearse the evil of that time. The skull story of Hitler is true, but it is just a piece of skull, no big deal. A better piece of evidence came with it, Hitler had problem teeth, he had dentures/bridge work done and records well known, survived and compared with it. The jaws recovered from the burnt body in the Hitler bunker in Berlin that the Russians invaded belongs to Hitler. Hitler died in the bunker, the burnt bodies of his and his wife were found, Hitler did not escape.
