I’ve had a flash of an idea that I wanted to share. It relates to Haleigh Cummings, Hassani Campbell and Adji Desir. An idea I temporarily called “Light The Way Home”. It turns out that it’s not new, or something I created. It’s being used to help aid awareness and shine some positive light onto the subject. It’s the name of Canada’s Missing Children’s Society Campaign.

It’s also being used by groups toward the Humane Society. So I’m thinking that it’s ok for us to use it also. Maybe It’s mad ravings, but is it possible to inundate these homes & trees, fences and posts extending as far out in each direction from the Child’s home or vigil site.

Is it too late?

Can we do it?

Will it matter anyway?

I just believe with all of my heart that a full-fledged effort would totally shock many!

Other campaigns offered a 100 bulb length of light string for $1.00. (Easily affordable by any non-profit +1 donated dollar or light strip).

Next we would need people actually in that area to help get others involved and help string the lights. I would love to be able to go for at least a day myself. Bringing a mini-van full of young, strapping boys (my son & his 3 cousins who are now men and all over 6 ft tall, lol.)

So, the ones who are there would receive the shipments of lights, organize ground crews, activate locals to participate by agreeing to light up their lights every night from adornment till New Years?

What if we only were able to do her/their last known residence/vigil site?

Would it show some love?

Would there be comfort to families and friends?

Would it help raise awareness for these little lost children?

I say YES!!!

Maybe it’s too late, maybe 10 days is not enough time?

Shouldn’t we try?

Let’s do it to show our love, not only for the children themselves, but to their families and extended families as well. If we hurt, having never really known the child, how great their pain must be to have them gone from their lives.

If you think that it’s a good project and you’d be willing to help out, please comment below or PM me via forum. I like to think of the light strands as visible :hugs: to the families & friends as well as hugs and prayers of protection over the child.
