John McCain came out a reasonably big winner on Super Tuesday and the next day Mitt Romney suspended his quest for the candidacy thus making John McCain the de-facto nominee for the Republican Party.  Now normally I make fun of liberals and democrats for being whiny panty waists whenever they don’t get their way but the day after Super Tuesday the Conservative Media douche bag glitterati nearly made me abandon talk radio altogether.  One by one the Limbaugh’s, Coulter’s, Hannity’s and Ingraham’s of the talk radio world uncharacteristically whined incessantly about how conservatism is dead thanks to the de-facto nomination of John McCain.  As a matter of fact, Laura Ingraham, whose show I generally enjoy, did an entire segment on the following quote by John McCain-

“I do hope that at some point we would just calm down a little bit and see if there’s areas that we can agree on for the good of the party and for the good of the country. I haven’t responded to any of it, as you know, and won’t, but I think it might be a good idea if we — I think they’ve made their case against me pretty eloquently, if that’s the right word, I think they’ve made their case against me, and I think the majority of Republicans across the board have stated their view, and so I hope that maybe we can now join together for the good of the party and the good of the conservative cause.”

Now the operative phrase here that got Ms. Laura all hot and bothered was, “calm down.”  Yes, apparently in conservative media douche bag glitterati world, if one asks you to calm down and be rational they should be tarred, feathered and summarily hung from the nearest tree in Town Square.  Congratulations folks, you’ve made the liberals whom have been crying for the past 8 years that Bush stole the election from Gore seem stable by comparison.  It’s no wonder McCain told you mopes to calm down, like my ex-wife; you people are acting like maniacs…
