I think it is fair to say that the PCSO are forthcoming when they actually have something that they can legally share. Todays releases are the Incident Reports for the arrests of Misty Croslin, Tommy Croslin, Ronald Cummings, Hope Sykes, and Donna Brock.
Some of these (all of them) reports have been redacted. But you can still find items of interest in them. Who is Kelly? That would be a good start. Also it is apparent that this was not a flash in the pan event. As best I can tell there were at least 5 members of Law Enforcement involved. This project also was the culmination of a one month ‘Sting’ operation.
Here are the documents:
The question that needs to be asked is what do they show? We are still looking at them, sometimes you can find more from the redacted and unsaid facts than what has been released. I think this is the case with these ones.
There are rich pickings to be found in these documents, you just have to know where to look, and how to interpret them.

Simon,
Thank you for posting the Incident Reports!
Thanks Simon for getting us this info so quickly! I hope they release the rest of it quickly…I’m very curious about Donna.
ok… Misty says she was robbed of the money… is she talking about that night out at the Apartment complex… if so, wasn’t that over a month ago… like in October??
cent…I noticed that too…but I don’t think it’s the same. My guess is that someone in her family took the money.
Seems to me like they spent a lot of money and resources investigating this nickel and dime operation. Query why they didn’t go after the people that supplied the tablets to Misty & co and just went after the street dealers, who are obviously at the bottom of the supply chain and the least culpable. Also, it’s obvious that Misty has to get the pills from others…I smell entrapment! Particularly if they don’t have evidence that they supplied to anyone but the undercover(s).
me,
Yes you could be right. Unless the Informant was wired or provided proof before the Sting OP. Funny how comfortable she felt sitting in a car under these circumstances… with someone she didn’t truly know!! I’m thinking the informer is close at hand.
The 2nd link for the Incident Report #359 is the same as the Incident Report in link #4 labeled #510. Can you post the actual #359 Incident Report? Thanks.
Hi, me!
I felt the same way. These are really small-time “dealers” the likes of which PCSO could bust any and every night of the week if they wanted to (IMO).
I hope that one or both of two things might come out of this. The first of course is info that leads to Haleigh. But the second was that a supplier would be caught, too. There are really Big time suppliers/dealers that need to be taken down. Then the smaller fish won’t have anything to sell.
So I’ll keep hoping for both things.
me you took the words outta my mouth.i do want Haleigh found like the next one but these charges are BS!!!!!LE couldn’t do kno better than this?Misty and Ron hustled, and bustled to use.LE knows good n darn well they are not gonna get any time mainly Misty, she’s never been in any trouble.Sounds to me like a good atty.could beat this if Misty will shut up…Entrapment all day long. They had to go get the pills from someone else each n everytime.
There is something very odd about all this. It’s obvious that at least on one occasion, Kelly was the actual supplier and Misty acted as no more than a facilitator….yet they don’t even id Kelly, let alone arrest her….so, it seems they weren’t interested in the higher ups.
I doubt these charges will put much pressure on anyone to talk (if they have anything to talk about)…with it being a first time offence for Misty, and given her age and background, and the role she played, she’d get little more than a slap on the wrist for this.
Something is way too fishy. Ron and Misty knew and know that they are and have been in the spot light since Haleigh went missing. And now we are suppose to believe that Especially Ron and Misty just put themselves out there and took the chance in getting busted dealing prescribed drugs to someone they didn’t even know (informant)???? I think not. And if anyone would be suspicious of even dealing to anyone, would be Ron himself. He especially would be suspicious of dealing to someone he didn’t know. I’m sorry, But I’m not buying this at all.
Pinkey…we were posting pretty much the same thing at the same time!
PCSO have got to be kidding….calling a press conference to brag about the fact they invested significant monies and resources into an investigation to catch a teenager making $40 a pop for helping an undercover buy pills. Pathetic. I have lost all confidence in PCSO. No wonder they haven’t cracked this case.
From what I have read. They have nothing on Ron. And as for Misty, That’s an easy entrapment case for her attorney. They need to do way better than this.
PAW69, I see what you are saying but supposedly these are only part of the charges and they have more to release. Do you think that will make a difference? or is this just blown up?
So far it shows Misty talking to the UC, Misty doing the transfers. I don’t feel at this point it’s as big as it’s made out to be. But when the rest comes out, if it only shows Misty still being the one doing the talking and transferring, I’d have to wonder why the rest of them are in jail other than being guilty by being in the presence of the deal going down. I’m also curious about this Kelly person and her part in all of this.
Have these dealings always gone on? Or are they just recent ones? If they are recent ones, it could be argued by the attorney that due to the economy, Misty and/or the others found a way to make it through these hard times by selling prescribed drugs.
That’s just 1 possibility though and just a fly by thought at this point.
Yes, we know that Misty has been on drugs, as well as Tommy, and some others. But selling them is a whole new ball park.
I’m just not so sure about Misty/any one else selling prescribed drugs to someone they didn’t know, especially knowing they are in the spotlight. To me, it sounds too far fetched.
But it does look like it revolves only around Misty.
It could also be argued that Misty could have been doing a drug deal down the street and someone knew about the drug deal going on and they went and kidnapped Haleigh while Misty was out doing a drug deal. And in that case, who would know about that…. Tommy possibly. He puts himself at the scene. That’s another theory that could have happened. And maybe that’s where all of this is leading too. It’s a possibility as well.
Makes me wonder who the undercover was, could it have been someone she already knew and that is why they trusted them? Like you say, it will be interesting to see what else comes out.
Has anyone told them incident 359 is incident 510,also?Where is incident 359?
Misty, possibly… But Ron, I’m not too sure.
Wait a minute folks. These people are not at home, doing homework with their child, or at home period. Ronald does not work at a normal job, neither does Misty. They are drug addicts and drug hustlers. This is not some small time crime. It is illegal activity that kills people and destroys lives. It is a CRIME Folks. These people are criminals, where are your brains folks? Drug addicts don’t care about anything but the next buzz. They will steal, lie, exchange sex for drugs with strangers…you would not believe some things my troubled people told me. Drug users and dealers, even small time dealers are lethal and have to be either jailed and taken off the streets so they cannot destroy any more lives, even if it’s just their own…
Where have they been since the child disappeared? Doing drugs and running with criminals, just as before. What happened to Haleigh? I am afraid they are all in on it… This is what happens in the lives of criminals…hoping they will all get “off” because they are all small time…is ignorance and idiocy. These people are why society is being destroyed little by little. These are no saints. They deserve the same jail time me and you would get if caught trafficking. The police don’t NEED to set them up. They continue over and over to do a pretty good job of it. They are criminals and the only way to stop them is prison. He deserves it, she deserves it, they all do. People go to prison for smoking a joint much less dealing. IT is all illegal –HELLOOOOO????
2cents…alcohol kills far more people than all illegal drugs combined! There is no evidence they are “addicts”. We are talking about prescription drugs, not crack (like what was found at Crystal’s home). People go to prison for smoking a joint??? Where??? If so, that’s nuts. THC has never killed anyone. You might want to check the stats about how many kids will be killed this weekend from alcohol. Perhaps then you can get this all in perspective.
I think I’m going to change my name to Quarter. lol
wow i think this is the break we have all been looking for…what is wrong with all of you people. u have all been wanting something major to happen to help the case…it is happening and it’s not good enough for you. seriously sit back and enjoy the ride, i think the truth will now come out. and obviously they dont care about kelly or the person who sold them the drugs they busted them for haleigh 100% they don’t care about the drugs. they havent been able to move forward in the investigation for haleigh so they found another route. good for them i think they should keep up the good work and keep the pressure on!!
As far as this bust being a set up, IMO it doesn’t matter, it is caught on tape and their actions were illegal. Will a judge or jury buy that these buys only occured because the police engaged them….not when there were multiple transactions.
I’m no expert on the law but I doubt they will get the amount of time being reported 40- 180 years, especially Misty as a first offender, although it’s been reported there is a mandatory minimum of 25 if they are found guilty on even 1 of the charges.
I hope that the citizen’s of FL on the wrong side of the law will take note of the repercussions of selling even a couple hundred prescription pills.
Do we know there hasn’t been other busts of this caliber? The only reason we are hearing about these arrests are because of who they are. Any locals on here? Personally I stand behind law enforcement.
I don’t think it is that unusual for someone selling at the street level to sell to someone they don’t know well as long as they met him/her through someone they know….can’t say the same for someone higher up.
Haleigh is not the first child to go missing and not be found….there are so many possibilities of what happened and the environment she was living multiplied the possibilities.
Since these arrests, I have been wondering about the night Misty got robbed in the projects. There were 2 girls with Misty, but her’s was the only purse grabbed. Makes me wonder what she had in her purse? Were they there to sell and not buy as one of the girls reported to LE? I have wondered why she was so freaked out on the 911 call, more so than the call to report Haleigh missing….perhaps she hadn’t paid for what was in her purse yet. I’m spectulating and at the end of the day it doesn’t matter because she wasn’t arrested or really hurt. Just thinking on paper.
i think i get it now!
misty is very pretty and petite. some bring up how handsome they think ronald is!
what if they were big, fat and ugly 😀
PAW69 said,in January 27th, 2010 at 12:30 am that is very funny 😀
does silver dollar work??? i want to be the biggest!
gosh i hope no one is going to get mad at me, i think i am in a goofy mood!
The number of drug deaths in the US in a typical year is as follows:
Tobacco kills about 390,000.
Alcohol kills about 80,000.
Sidestream smoke from tobacco kills about 50,000.
Cocaine kills about 2,200.
Heroin kills about 2,000.
Aspirin kills about 2,000.
Marijuana kills 0. There has never been a recorded death due to marijuana at any time in US history.
All illegal drugs combined kill about 4,500 people per year, or about one percent of the number killed by alcohol and tobacco. Tobacco kills more people each year than all of the people killed by all of the illegal drugs in the last century.

Ms. Maybe a 2 dollar bill will work better for us lol.
Me? What about prescribed drugs?
oh yeah that would be best! inflation!
•Alcohol kills 6½ times more youth than all other illicit drugs combined.

me, ty for the info. i am so happy smoking has gone down.
i personally don’t believe the marijuana info. i know i have read heard that many times, i just find it card to believe smoking anything is not very bad for our health. i would like to know how well the studies are on that. people may not be honest about the amount they have smoked to their doctors. or even to researchers.
but, yes i get your point!
in this case i still believe these charges are most likely honest charges and not entrapment.
i am wondering what would be a normal consequence of having the 6 charges for a total of 74 years actually get someone with a clean record?
I’m guessing that “Me” uses drugs & marijuana and therefore doesn’t want to see a problem with it.
“2 cents” is absolutely right. So is Katfish.
The question as to how people would see this if the Misty and Ron were fat and ugly is also a good question. I think everyone knows the answer.
I’ve been quietly watching this story for months. I think Misty and Ron et al are low lifes, involved in drugs, and because of their behavior, drug addictions, and sick habits, Haleigh is gone. Most likely dead. And as one person noted, Ron and Misty continue to party. It’s the nature of drug addicted beasts. I’m all for them staying in jail as long as the police and courts can keep them there.
Maybe Misty, scared about being in jail, will finally confess to what really happened the night Haleigh disappeared.
PAW…as someone who has nearly died from adverse reactions to prescription drugs myself (prescribed to me by my doctors of course!), I have looked those stats up previously. To the best of my recollection, adverse drug reactions to prescribed medications (obtained and taken legally on the advice of a doctor) is a leading cause of death in most western countries.
Personally, I don’t drink and unless my life is at risk won’t take a prescription drug either (on the advice of my immunologist)…haven’t even had an aspirin since 2002….have 2 wedged vertebrae in my back so the docs were always trying to give me stuff, but I’d rather live with the pain than the risks of taking prescribed meds.
I am not an advocate for alcohol or drug use…quite the opposite…but I see it as a medical, not a legal issue.
I’m about to go pick up my take out food and see if I can find some more stats when I get back, in the meantime I found this from 1996..
“Each year, use of NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) accounts for an estimated 7,600 deaths and 76,000 hospitalizations in the United States.” (NSAIDs include aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, diclofenac, ketoprofen, and tiaprofenic acid.)
ME, I have medical problems too and the doctors always wanna shove drugs down my throat. But I too refuse to do so. They scare the heck out of me, always have.
When it’s all laid out on the table, it seems to me that prescibed drugs are far worse than street drugs. I could be wrong. But drugs are drugs, legal or not, and they all have risks.
I may have missed this part so bare with me for a moment please…..
Where did these prescribed drugs come from? Who were they originally for? Does anyone know?
In May of 2009 the National Drug Control Policy, released a report on the diversion and abuse of prescription drugs. The report finds non-medical use of prescription drugs a serious threat to public health and safety, with unintentional deaths involving prescription opioids increasing 114 percent from 2001 to 2005, and treatment admissions increasing 74 percent in a similar four-year period.
The National Prescription Drug Threat Assessment (NPDTA) was prepared by the National Drug Intelligence Center (NDIC) in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). It synthesizes reports and data from law enforcement and public health officials to evaluate the threat posed by the distribution, diversion, and abuse of controlled prescription drugs in the United States. Non-medical use of prescription drugs (pain relievers, stimulants, tranquilizers, and sedatives) is most prevalent among young adults—individuals aged 18 to 25.
Despite strident regulations for dispensing controlled substances, prescriptions drugs, especially pain relievers, are acquired illegally, most frequently from friends or family or by doctor-shopping, prescription fraud, and theft. Rogue Internet pharmacies are also a significant source of diverted prescription drugs, and increasingly, street gangs are involved in the illicit distribution of diverted pharmaceuticals.
Over 8,500 deaths nationwide involved prescription pain relievers in 2005, the latest year for which data are available, an increase of 114 percent since 2001. Emergency room visits for nonmedical use of pain relievers increased 39 percent from 2004 to 2006. Treatment admissions for prescription opioids increased 74 percent from 2002 to 2006. Nearly one third of individuals who began abusing drugs in the past year reported their first drug was a prescription drug: 19 percent indicated it was a prescription opioid. Thus, 1 in 5 new drug abusers are initiating use with potent narcotics, such as oxycodone, hydrocodone, and methadone.
These are just a few highlights from a very informative report, to see the complete report:

Broward County (FL) Takes Steps to Protect Public from Dangerous Pill Mills
Pill mills are proliferating in South Florida – the number in Broward County alone swelled from 4 in 2007 to 115 in 2009 – and their impact is profound: in the last 6 months of 2008, these clinics distributed 6.5 million dosage units, making Florida doctors the top 50 in the country for dispensing oxycodone. Forty-five of these doctors were in South Florida, and 33 were in Broward County. To counter this threat, Broward County empanelled a grand jury to investigate. The results of the grand jury’s inquiry along with 18 recommendations to address this dangerous trend can be found here:

The researchers concluded that ADRs are now the fourth leading cause of death in the United States after heart disease, cancer, and stroke.
Source: Jason, et al. (Lazarou et al), Incidence of Adverse Drug Reactions in Hospitalized Patients, Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), Vol. 279. April 15, 1998, pp. 1200-05. Also Bates, David W., Drugs and Adverse Drug Reactions: How Worried Should We Be? JAMA, Vol. 279. April 15, 1998, pp. 1216-17.
ADR = Adverse Drug Reaction
Yep, PAW, seems you are right. Leaving aside overdoses (accidental and deliberate), adverse drug reactions to prescribed meds are a leading cause of death. Most docs seem to want to ignore these stats and lead us to believe that what they give us is safe. Even though I tell every doc I see of my prior serious adverse drug reactions, they still try to convince me to take something. Sadly, many people do believe that prescribed meds are safe. Interestingly, with marijuana, adverse drug reactions are very rare and I don’t believe it has ever killed anyone(guess the pharmas can’t do as good a job as mother nature!), which is why, at least in Canada, you can get access to medical marijuana in some situations where you have had adverse reactions to pharmaceuticals.
yep drugs is what they do. and try out arguing docs about your allergies or bad reactions to medicines. sometimes not easy to do. they want you to take antihistamines or steroids to counteract the allergies. and other meds to counteract the bad side effects. it gets scary!
i don’t have the answer to the illegal drug use. but, i watched that video, “The Oxycontin Express”, and to see the actual people right in front of your eyes, was so hard to watch.

Lisa…you guessed wrong and I am offended. I work in the area and have been researching it for almost 30 years. I am educated in the area and that seems to bother some people like you who prefer to parrot people like NG and radical uneducated politicians. Just because those of us who are educated argue for a medical rather than legal solution to drugs, doesn’t mean we use. I’m guessing you are a big drinker? It’s usually big drinkers who refuse to educate themselves about the respective risks.
ms.peridot….smoking anything is bad for you. However, marijuana does not need to be smoked. It is sold in edible and other forms for medical use to avoid the risks associated with smoking it.
The side effects alone in prescribed drugs is enough for me to say no to taking them.
i understand “me”. but, i meant i don’t think smoking it is as harmless as some say/believe.
Lisa,
While we are on the point, if you speak to any person who works in the criminal justice system, they will all tell you the same thing. Alcohol causes far more violence, injuries, deaths, family problems etc than any other drug. It is an awful drug and kills many young people, as well as adults. It also causes people to commit heinous acts of violence. Yet, the government allows it to be advertised more than any other product in the USA, leading our youth to believe it is a relatively safe drug.
PAW…I’m with you!
Re the question of whether Misty will be required to do the mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years….I don’t know anything about the sentencing laws in Fla, but where I come from, the Courts have some discretion on the issue and you can argue that your client should not receive the mandatory minimum. Where I am the mandatory minimum is effectively for the average offender….they can get more if they are repeat offenders or the crime was particularly heinous or on the basis of the role they played, and argue for less on the basis of role played, first offence, youth, mental illness etc. Where I come from, and I think it would be the same in Florida, street level suppliers are considered to be the bottom of the totem pole of criminality, and their sentence usually reflects that.
PAW…I don’t know where the drugs came from and it’s a shame LE didn’t look into that aspect of it. They are soooo easy to get from Doctors, that there are so many possible sources. I am guessing that someone like Donna could probably present herself to a doc and walk away with a few prescriptions quite easily…it would be harder for someone like Misty or Ron to get away with obtaining them that way. I wish Doctors were far more careful about prescribing all potentially dangerous medications. I think they should be sent the ADR stats each year so they wake up to the risks associated with these drugs.
thank you me, you explained that great. that makes sense.
i have been assuming le will negotiate for sources higher up. and it seems, like with lisa, they have different ways of dealing with you when there are multiple charges. if she is not cleared/dropped of all of the charges she may only have to deal with one of them? one of the charges was for 3 years. and i am sure the 3 years could be negotiated? i have no idea how all of this will turn out. we have such a complicated system.
I just read through the incident reports and on one or more of them it had the date Thursday Jan18,2010.Unless i have different then normal calendars mine all say Monday Jan 18,2010. Was wondering if this would make any difference to their lawyers.
Thanks to SkyNews for posting the PDFs and BNN for sharing them with us.
For those who can’t open PDF format these PDF are the incident reports for the transactions that were audio/video recorded after controlled phonecalls with Misty and involved Lortab/Hydrocodone.
Incident #336 transaction involved Ron, Misty, and Hope Sykes on 1/12/2010 and the sale of 9 Lortab to the UC for $65.00.Ron is alleged to have possession of these pills, Hope it seems was just along but was charged along with Ron and Misty. Report indicated cost of the 3 hour investigation was $43.38.
Incident report #398 alleges on 1/14/2010 the UC made arrangements with Misty to meet and bought 71 lortab . Misty was with Ron in his truck at a gas station. Misty got into the vehicle with the UC said Ron was talking to “her” (supplier?) about getting the stuff. UC gave Misty the money, who then gave Ron the money. Misty stayed with the UC until they got word to meet Ron at a bridge to complete the transaction for $500.00 plus an additional $30.00 payment for facilitating the deal. Both were charged for this transaction. Report indicated cost of the 3 hour investigation was $43.38.
Incident report #510 is a transaction that is alleged to have occured on 1/18/2010 involving 18 pills sold to the UC for $140.00 plus an additional $40.00 payment for facilitating the deal made by Misty and a female introduced only as “Kelly”. This Kelly seems to be the connection for Misty to the person who supplied Misty the pills. Kelly has a warrant for her arrest too but remains at large. Ron met with Misty and the UC after the transaction was completed allegedly to set up a future deal so was not charged in this transaction. Report indicated cost of this 3 hour investigation was also $43.38.
Curious to see the rest of the reports, we know there is at least 4 more transactions and that Tommy Croslin and Donna Brock were also charged with 1 count each of trafficing illegal drugs. Ron also has 1 more charge than indicated by these reports. Very interesting.
ms….I think in the ordinary case LE would be interested in the higher ups, but based on the limited materials we have at this stage, I’m not sure LE were interested in anyone but Ron & Misty in this operation. Your system is quite different from where I live, in that we don’t have plea deals like you have…we can negotiate on charges, but not on sentences. Where I live there is a presumption in favor of jail for ALL trafficking offences, no matter what the drug or other mitigating circumstances, and it is not that easy to keep even a first time offender out of jail for trafficking small amounts. Where I live, we have drug sniffer dogs that patrol the nightclubs, concerts, dance parties, public transport, movie districts etc! More than 1 kid has od’ed by swallowing the stuff in their pockets to avoid detection by the dogs….very sad.
Me – I’m with you on educating these Doctors the link I posted at 1:51 shows steps the DEA is taking in FL. I too know from personal experience even the well meaning doctors need to re-evaluate their prescribing.
About discretion in mandatory sentencing…isn’t that kind of an oxymoron.
I don’t mean to be argumentative so please take this comment in the spirit it is intended. I don’t agree with mandatory minimums in drug sentencing….violent crimes are another story.
Where I am this would be a fine and that being a person was convicted on all accounts. Plus at 18 if the offender wanted to they could enter a program in which they would have no criminal record. In order to qualify for that the person has to be a 1st time offender and the charges have to be non violent. In a case of drugs likely the person would have to go to Drug rehabilitation. It’s quite clear they have set this up for Misty. What I don’t understand is how a person can be part of a program that takes away a life from a 18 year old child and then claim to be making a difference in the world, or being a role model. I think making the difference is helping people much like Intervention does where the people use more in three days than sold here in a month. That is making a difference positive change, healing families and making society and communities healthier. I think a person has to be a very dark horse to do this job, I would not want to know him.
God Bless Haleigh and all her families
katfish…thx so much for your summaries above! That must have taken some time and I’m sure many will appreciate the effort!
It is absolutely an oxymoron! We used to have “sentencing guidelines”, now we have “mandatory minimum terms” but there is little difference between them. I have no idea if your mandatory minimum terms are treated the same way as ours or not, but hopefully someone can give us the answer to that. ITA with you re the mandatory minimums in drug crimes.
Senseless violence is in a whole different category and it is one of my pet peeves that we treat these offences so lightly, as opposed to how we treat drug offences. Drug offenders are usually guilty of little more than stupidity in my books (you have to be dumb to deal drugs as the amount of money you will make relative to the jail time you will do if caught, makes it a stupid business to be in). Example, it looks like Misty made $30=$40 each deal and now she is facing serious jail time, whereas, had she written a bad cheque for that amount, she would have gotten probation at worst. Violent offenders are evil and rarely change….they need to be in jail.
DustyRose…thx for the info. I really enjoyed your post and totally agree with your views on this.
I am not so sure Misty and Ronald will serve that much time. I think they are trying to throw a scare into them and get them to talk. Look how many times charges that should have stuck against Ronald were dropped. This being Misty’s first offence may get her a much lighter sentence, also. We will just have to wait and see.
me- I became curious about mandatory minimums for trafficing where I live in the midwest. From what I can tell we have them here too but not in all instances of trafficing, mandatory minimums can be triggered by quantity depending on the type of drug, sale in proximity to a school, previous offenses. This is evidently the case in FL too because Tommy and Hope are only facing a mandatory min of 3-15 years. Even though Donna Brock only has one charge of trafficing like Tommy and Hope, the report here says she is also facing 25 years. Hmmm…wonder about that. The best hope that Misty, Ron and Donna seem to have is to get those charges reduced in a plea deal before risking a conviction.
What little research I have done indicates those most affected by min. drug sentences are those in poor areas especially black males.

Report: Misty Croslin sold hundreds of pills
“(Croslin) stated that she was ‘freaked out’ because this was a lot of money and a lot of pills. (Croslin) stated that she did not want to get in trouble,” the report states. The officer drove Croslin to her Satsuma home afterward.
entrapment…the keystone cops are working this case
One thing that has been bothering me this whole time is about how it has been reported that RC has been arrested before but the charges were always dropped. Now, I am a bit old-fashioned and probably not quite up to speed about a lot of complicated modern situations, so of course the *first* thing that would cross my mind (having lived in a small town), is the question, does he, (or one of his relatives), have “friends in high places”?
Did anyone happen to notice that one post awhile back about bail-bond companies using the courts to launder drug money?
Then you have that it was reported in the news, what Ronald supposedly said when they arrested him this last time. I mean, it comes across like they were telling him, we wouldn’t be arresting you if we weren’t being forced into it. ??? I mean, as reported you might think he made it sound like they were in some way apologizing! Maybe it’s sheer ego; otherwise there are implications that he is a lot more clever than he presents himself to people. Or, maybe they did say it,but it wasn’t really apologizing….

wow, i didn’t think it through that much! that is very interesting!
When I was reading the doc. with Misty and Donnas drug deal,Ithought it was interesting that Misty told the UC that they were in Va. and Brunswick Ga. That Donna had about a $1000.00 worth of pills to sell because she needed the money. Afew sentences later said that Donna would get a few hundred more in about 3 months. To me it says that maybe Donna was a main supplier.
Katfish,
I just wanted to thank you for posting that summery. I couldn’t open it and was going crazy trying to keep up with what was going on, just by reading everyone’s comments.
Well I am glad Ron is reading the bible. Maybe someone should have given him one before now.
I wished they would also give an interview to Lisa C. I am sure she would like to say what she thinks of Ron, fair is fair, we all know Teresa is not going to accept that Ron plays any roll in what he did, she will now blame Misty. I feel for her but she needs to wake up and smell the coffee. jmo
I do agree that Misty has made a disaster out of her life, but so has Ron. Ron has also let down his son, Mother and Grandmother who trusted him and stood by him when he said Misty doesnt know what happened. I know alot of people who only want to see the good in their children but in some cases you need to accept the facts and let them face the punishment, especially when they are 27 years old. This was not a set up or entrapment, They set up the locations and the times. They discussed the prices and amounts they had for sale. Its the same for Vice(prostitution) the john says a price and he gets arrested. These charges will stick I believe they are iron clad with the audio and video. jmo
Tobias Ron and the family was going to church before Haleigh was abducted.
I agree this is penny ante stuff and the high bonds associated with it are ridiculous. Reading the police reports it also sounds like entrapment.
Stupid PCSO also forgot to block out the undercover detectives name on the 4the page of Donna’s report. Nothing like outing your UC officer’s name PCSO. No wonder they can’t find Haleigh
Someone needs to tell jerome williams this is penny ante. He went to jail for trafficing the same way

“New Drug Arrest in Platka”
Tobias look up Jerome’s previous records since 1990.
big difference
Tobias perhaps you can answer a question for me. Is The address Tropic where there was a drug bust after the letters surfaced and said to be where the forementioned party that Misty was suppose to have Haleigh at the night she disappeared? I cannot remember the address or the name of the guy that lived at the address.
That would be Chad Elliot not sure of the addie.brb
Tobias Today is early release day from school so I will have to catch up with you later on the info. Thanks
Chad eliott lives on stokes landing in satsuma by the l shaped pond that was drained. moo
I guess I was under the assumption that an undercover officer infiltrated, and befriended Misty and they sold and bought from each other. Undercover sold to Misty and co., and vice versa. IMO, Through out their dealings, Misy was able to meet a few “Mr Bigs” and trust was earned on both sides. I believe that drug task forces through out the country are allowed to use any means necessary to bring down drug dealers, including selling drugs, and even using drugs to gain trust. As a recovering addict (drug of choice-pot), I learned alot about the drug. One thing I can say for a fact is this: The resin from pot can be just as deadly when filtered through the lungs as cigarette tar. Whether or not it causes cancer of the lungs, I can’t say for sure, but it comes to emphazema (spell check) My seventy year old husband suffers late-stage emphazema and never smoked cigarettes but smoked pot for many years. Some of it could be related to different jobs he worked, but his doctor feels much of it is pot related. He smoked on average one once a week. Thats alot. Where I come from, When a person suffers cronic, severe pain, the patient can enter a written contract with the doctor allowing the doctor to prescribe large (90 to 120 pills) quantities of pain meds at a time. Many of these prescriptions can be refilled sometimes every month. The doctor reserves the right to call the patient at anytime to bring in their meds to be counted. The contract frees the doctor from responsibility. I attend many NA groups where there are addicts whos habits began this way.
I forgot to mention that many of the folks in my groups are court ordered due to getting caught selling their medications.
Methinks ,Thank you for mentioning that people sell their scripts. There may be no big guy in this, If one or more of this group had scripts they could get them filled like Hank Croslin Sr. was doing. Thats why they set up times to meet after they got the pills.moo
Remember Hank was supposed to have 390 pills were they ever found? I cant remember if LE had the pills or if they just knew he was doctor shopping. jmo
Nay Nay’s mother lives on Tropic, maybe that’s where you got Tropic from.
Is it possible that they hoarded all the oxies from the doctor shopping Hank was doing? Guess it is a possibility. jmo
NayNay also has a younger sister. I know there is a video of her reading the letter or something on Art H. jmo
Peggy, where did you get the information that she said was in Va and Ga. I haven’t read that anywhere. Thanks, Treece
Prevatt’s sister, Kelly Dodd, showed Action news a similar letter Thursday that … video, I thought NayNay’s sister Kelly didn’t seem very convinced her sister was
This was the one I was talking about and her name is Kelly. She read the letter from NayNay to her mom. jmo
It is quite possible “Mr Big”is LE.
the video is on you tube Nay Nay writes second letter to her mom. She says she has known Misty since Misty was 14. jmo
Hello anyone out there?
The Kelly is more than likely Kelly Dodd, NayNay Prevatts little sister, she looks really young, her video is on you tube under Nay Nay sends a second letter to her mom. She says she has known Misty since she was 14. jmo
Does anyone know where Peggy read that Misty said they had been to GA and VA or where it talked about them crossing state lines? Thanks
I dont know but I heard that during their trip they went to a dentist so Misty could have some dental work done I think she had a tooth pulled. But no real proof only what someone said. jmo
I don’t even know where I read it but some place I read she went to the dentist is Orlando. But Peggy posted at 9:23 this morning that Misty told the UC they went to GA and VA. I just want to see those docs. Some where I have missed that. Thanks for answering.
Maybe on another site I am going to search around.bbl
Hey, Tobias, I really loved your 11:47 am post!
HGM, Did you read about the UC saying about one of the meeting places was Dunns creek bridge and he said there was a cop there so he could meet them at the bi/lo. That bridge keeps coming up and it really makes the hair on my neck go up its really creepy. jmo
Just a few thoughts….
1)It seems likely that LE would know who NayNay’s sister Kelly is. Here is the description of Kelly on the 510 incident report:
Race: WHITE Ethnicity: NOT OF HISPANIC ORIGIN Sex: Female DOB: Age.
Height: Weight: Eye Color: Hair Color: BLACK Hair length: MEDIUM
Hair Style: STRAIGHT Complexion: TANNED Voice: NORMAL
It sounds as though some folks have seen video of NayNay’s sis, does this description fit at all?
The supplier when Kelly scored the Lortab was in SanMateo, FL. Ring any bells? I’m surprised if they picked Kelly up at an address on Tropic Avenue they don’t have more info about her….of course they may now, just not at the time of this report.
2) Where is the incident report on Donna Brock? I haven’t seen that yet.
3) Up here- YVW-Summarizing the info from the reports helped me digest the info better (3:30 am) and it just took a few minutes…I know the frustration of not being able to open a file everyone is talking about.
Kat fish Kelly is on a video on You tube naynay sends her mom a second letter. It does sound like her. She is pretty young, if I had to guess I would say 16- 17 .jmo
She may be in juvie facility. jmo
From the reports it sounds like all the parties knew where to go to buy drugs to sell to the UC. The only one that sounds like they were just riding along is Hope. But she did go into the house on Tropic st. with Misty while Ron stayed in the car with UC. Maybe thats why she is not in as much trouble as the rest. jmo
Tobias, that might be right. Her going in the house might be the only thing that got her in trouble. If she didn’t touch the drugs or the money, I don’t know if she would be held responsible, so maybe going into get them did it for her. I’m just speculating, don’t really know.
And she is only 17.
I see the Barretts corrected incident report 359. Here is a summary:
The report alleges this transaction occured on 1/13/2010 and involved Misty, Ron and Hope.
The transaction was audio and video recorded by the UC and the deal was set up in controlled phone calls with Misty.
At approximately 1547 hours, UC arrived in the parking lot of Cowart’s Meat Market 530 Hwy 17 south San Mateo Fl. Misty Cummings, Ronald Cummings and Hope Sykes arrived in a white Chevy truck. All three subjects got into the vehicle with UC. M. Cummings then directed UC to give her the money and drive down Old San Mateo Road. The UC stopped the UC vehicle on Old San Mateo Road where M. Cummings and Sykes exited the vehicle and walked up to an unknown residence. R. Cummings stayed in vehicle with UC and directed where to pick the girls up.
The pills the UC purchased this transaction are (25) Hydrocodone pills (Lortab) purchased from M. Cummings, R. Cummings and Hope Sykes for $190.00 and all 3 were charged with trafficking in illegal drugs.
The reported cost of this 3 hour investigation was $43.38.
One thing I find curious about this is it was my understanding that Sykes only faces 1 count of trafficking…incident report 336 also shows her charged even though in that transaction she seemed to just be there not an active part of the deal like this time….perhaps they dropped those earlier charges?
LOL- while I typed my last comment ya’ll discussed the same question I had about Hope….great minds.
Off to read who else got arrested and try to find documents pertaining to Donna Brock…haven’t seen any with Tommy yet either. Ron’s 3 counts are covered in this batch. None of these docs are for oxi’s either…that may be Donna’s deal and why her bail is higher than Tommy and Hope. In report 359 it’s alleged Misty said she should be able to get 50 Percocet later too….that must have fell through as no charges for percocet.
Tropic is off old san mateo. jmo
Awhile back I had a dentist try to prescribe me– I think it was Percodan. Even after explaining several times that I have never needed painkillers after dental work–even surgery, he kept pushing it on me. There had been a news segment shortly before this about a respected school principal who had gotten onto street drugs (I think heroin) after she had been prescribed that same drug. You would think they would know. Don’t we expect doctors and dentists to be smart? But maybe with a lot of them it is a matter of mind-set. And maybe the newer drugs are simply too dangerous.
Maybe in some cases they have a financial incentive to push the stuff? I don’t know much about that. What sort of relationships exist between the drug companies and doctors? I really don’t have the energy to pursue all of this consistently.
I thought maybe this dentist really believed this particular drug was the great white hope for dental pain, but he *really* was pushing it. So I took the prescription home but tore it up. And got another dentist.
another site has Tommys involvement. He and Misty met with the UC and they kind traveled around looking for a buy. Tommy met a person in a truck and left then came back with drugs.
I dont think bnn will let me say which site this was posted on so you will have to do your own sluething. jmo
ms.peridot19- thanks for the link to the gainsville article, it contains loads of info and fills in the blanks for the other 2 incidents that we haven’t seen incident reports for.
So all the buys took place between Dec. 22 and Jan 18. Didn’t Misty just turn 18 on Dec 19? tsk tsk…sad really.
The article states Brock was with Croslin on the Jan. 8 buy which was 155 pills for $800 (oxi???)while Cummings was with her on several of the buys. Hank Croslin was with her on one and Sykes on two.
By process of elimination Hank was along for the 1st buy, Dec 22 which would have been 44 pills of something.
thanks Tobias, I can look around.
Impressive work, folks.
Dang , you guys are good!!!

How does Va and Ga come into play??? I an trying to catch up here and I havent read this. Can you explain? Thanks
Peggy- where did you find the document that referred to Donna Brock, VA and GA, needing money and would have a few hundred more in 3 months? TIA
This to me sounds like Donna is Dr shopping, possibly in the 2 states.

I agree. It sure does sound this way, kat.
When they said 3 months it reminds me of those people who can get their RX through the mail and get a 90 day supply at once. I have a friend that her ins offers that service and it makes it much cheaper. So it is possible that she gets meds from more than one state and may get a 90 day supply at once in at least one of them.
Ronald ever reveal who Misty let steal Haleigh?
Wondering if he meant people in San Mateo.
Jason said,in January 27th, 2010 at 5:29 pm Ronald ever reveal who Misty let steal Haleigh?

What people in San Mateo? I like to read your posts and I still feel this baby girl is alive somewhere and i will never lose that faith.
Tobia the report where Kelly is listed I believe is 510
i have a question, did misty call 911 after she claim haleigh was missing ,are did she called ron first? i think something happen to haleigh at home misty panic called ron then the coverup began, his emotions seemed put on to me
Hi Anne,
I too, choose to believe she is still alive. No proof she isn’t, so considering who took her and why is where I’m at.
Just condidering the data we have. Ronald said she was stolen, Butterbean said a man in black, with squeaky shoes took her, Misty said she doesn’t know who took her.
Maybe there is truth in what Hank Sr. said about Ronald saying he needed thousands of dollars to get Haleigh back.
A dealer out of San Mateo might be owed money.
Comments here, and from Misty, Crystal, Teresa, and probably others whom I haven’t heard, about how much Ronald loves his little girl.
“She’s his heart”.
How much would Ronald pay to get his heart back?
I’d like to hear Hank Sr. clarify the conversation he had with Ronald about the need for money to get Haleigh back.
Link to the Police report involving Donna Brock’s charge.

Jason, you think Hank Croslin is a credible guy? LMAO! Or are you just willing to believe anyone who has anything bad to say about Ron? If I were you, I’d be looking for more reliable sources to base my opinions on!
me, you might want to re-read Jason’s post – I don’t think he is looking for people to bash Ron – He said Haleigh is Ron’s heart – Just FYI
Yes, Jason. That’s a good idea. Will you believe Hank Sr since apparently he’s the patriarch of the sibling pill-heads? Will you believe what Tim Miller said about it? Will we definitely know what context Ron was supposed to have said whatever it was he was supposed to have said? And remember, TM had a check made out to Ron right away which Ron did not accept. So probably a good idea to check on that whole story.
And I think Haleigh is Rons heart too. IMO
Alethea at 3:29 pm-
Wow that is scary that a dentist can prescribe percodan, that is oxicontin mixed with Acetiminophen (sp aka tylenol).

Article and Uncut Jailhouse Ronald Cummmings
Interview (Audio)
Thanks, Treece. You are right, no desire to bash anyone, just searching for answers from any source.
To the detractors here, I’ll decide whom I trust, and if I share that with you, so be it. If not, not.
If you’ve got something to add, I welcome it, otherwise, I’ll just ignore.
Who was in the house on Tropic where they got the drugs? Has that person been identified or arrested? TIA
Jason, I so agree with you and I too would like to hear Hank tell it himself instead of hearsay, even though I might not take it as a fact. I would rather hear it from him instead of AH or someone quoting him.
Jason, if you are referring to my 6:17 pm post I can assure you that the questions I posed to you are the same ones I posed to myself after hearing all of the story at the time. It’s still all fishy and it’s still true that R did not take the money. And that’s all I know.
Jason and Treece:
I believe there was an article on BNN that included a recording of TM telling about it as well as a recording of Hank Sr. Not sure but at least one of those recordings is a link in that article.
I agree, Treece. The fake search incident is another I would like to have fully explained. Strange how bits and pieces are posted by Holmseth, and Cobra briefly discussed it, but big media hasn’t touched it.
Treece and Jason
I agree with you both here.I will never by it that Ron harmed Haleigh.
m2c, I’ve heard the recording, and would love to question Hank Sr. about it for clarification, better understanding.
Tobias said,in January 27th, 2010 at 11:47 am
your point about lisa having a chance to be interviewed. i agree. i am sure ron did not turn out to be the son-in-law they were hoping for.
“Haleigh Cummings’ father, former stepmom in trouble again” in this article, although not exactly in interview they do have croslin quotes. and it was sure noteable the difference in the way tn and lisa croslin describe m & r relationship.
maybe m & r are those kind of people addicted to drama?
if r.c. is not uc he really did let down his son, mom, and grandma. how much more can this family take?
I have never understood that fake search. I don’t know what the point in it was and I don’t know why it wasn’t investigated. Cobra, said he even tried to give LE some of the evidence and they refused to take it. It’s just totally a blur to me.
m2c, thanks for the info.
Sorry Alethea I need to correct myself…percocet (not percodan as you mentioned)is the combination of oxi and tylenol. My bad.
AnneInTn,
I’m with you, don’t believe Ronald assualted Haleigh.
Ronald said she was stolen, so I think I’ll travel down that route to see where it leads.
AnneInTn, I don’t believe Ron hurt Haleigh either. I also don’t think his mom or grandma would have left her at home that night if they would have had any idea the kids weren’t well taken care of. I have no doubt Ggm Sykes could have lined Misty out if there was any need.
Treece, seems too out of the norm for media not to report on a search for a missing child.
I don’t even know who dubbed it a ‘fake’ search.
msP, I agree, I don’t know how Ggm Sykes and Teresa N have stood all they have been through. It must be the grace of God that they are able to go on.
Jason, if I remember what Cobra said, it would have been labeled fake because it wasn’t really done by LE, just someone claiming to be FBI and family members and another lady with a dog. Like I said I never even understood what the point was.
Well, I should qualify that with ‘search for Haleigh Cummings’.
Media reported on the pond being dredged, TES horseback searchers, but didn’t report on a search the Sheffield’s supposedly did.
If Jason was saying that he believed Haleigh was Ron’s heart, then I misunderstood and I am sorry. I thought he was being sarcastic.
Re the alleged fake search, I was at WS when that was happening….the dog’s owner was saying she was scared of Crystal & co because of what she allegedly saw. She talked of a man she couldn’t identify, but said he looked similar to Dominic Casey, who at that point was working for Crystal & co (why they would hire him is very suspicious to me given what we know of his games re Caylee’s body and friendship with Cindy A). Then the dog’s owner seemed to change her mind about it all. Very odd.
Neighbors who searched their backyards did a real search, not a fake one, even though LE wasn’t directly involved.
IMO, even Cobra has withheld information intentionally.
My apologies to you Jason…I clearly misunderstood your post.
I have to drag myself away from here for a few hours to get some things done. I hope Haleigh is home by the time I get back!

=============
I really don’t believe there was a conversation like that between Ron and Hank. Wasn’t that call to Tim made after they showed up at the Sykes home and started crap? I can’t remember now.
Ron would sit in jail to get his heart back and give up his life to get his heart back.
In the uncut jailhouse interview with Ronald Cummings, he said the 911 call still stands. Whether it is 40 or 50 years from now or whenever he will kill whoever took Haleigh if the cops don’t get them first. He said he is going to prison.
He said LE knows he does not know anything about Haleigh because he (Ron) would have killed whoever.
Ron said he does not care if he gets Life without Parole or death for killing whoever took Haleigh.
The above is not verbatim. If you want to listen to the audio, please see my 6:23 p.m.
You can click on the Audio in the article.
Vaquera, very good point and I tend to agree with you. TM came up with too many tales after he got mad at Ron.
i was so excited when c.s. got an attorney. i thought her attorney would make sure as hc’s mother, that crystal would be treated fairly. but, i was so mystified/shocked by what i have read about j.reagan and kp (what she supposedly talked to t.h. about) and all the actions. cobra talking about setting up w.b.g.p.!
and the fake search??
the fake search – the most innocent thing i came up with, this was to make people (the public) feel like they were doing everything they could to be looking for hc. you know, maybe they really didn’t know how to search. so a public relations thing.
but, it confuses me, why would they find obviously phony stuff like tree sap on a glove. the police would never fall for anything like that! it seems so ridiculous, would it not make them look suspicious to the police? i know what t.h. alleges. but, then why do a so obviously fake search? did they mean to encourage or discourage more searching for haleigh? was it all a set up to find the keys to the car? that they think that “those” people are guilty or know something.
the only thing i know for sure is i don’t know! and this is all my own opinion and questions!
Vaq,
Knowledge of many many “conversations”, only filtered out to the public, well after they “had” taken place. I think it’s a possibility that Ron shared that with “Magic Man” Hank Sr. Not saying it happened that way, or those particular words were used. It could have just been taken out of context. Hard to tell fact from fiction. But, I do believe that sooooo many other conversations took place on those “high” flying nights, and that they ALL know more than they’re saying.

You are very welcome! Hopefully the report and recommendations issued by the Grand Jury will enable FL to curb this rampant abuse of prescription narcotics and opioids.
While the abuse of prescription drugs are a national problem I’ve recently learned there are very clear reasons why Florida has such a horrible problem
In early 2009, thirty eight (38) states had enacted legislation implementing a Prescription
Drug Monitoring Program in their states. Florida was the largest state without a Prescription Drug Monitoring Program and became a destination for traffickers, dealers and users seeking to illegally acquire prescription drugs.
Finally, in July 2009 Florida enacted legislation to implement a Prescription Drug Monitoring Program. The Prescription Drug Monitoring Program is to be operational beginning in December 2010.
Hopefully monitoring the dispensing will help but clearly the DEA needs to get to work on these “Pill Mills”. Of the more than 1 million dispensing doctors registered with the Drug
Enforcement Administration (DEA) almost 60,000 dispensing doctors (or 6%) are
registered in the State of Florida. REALITY CHECK!

An in-depth report on the alleged ‘fake’ search would be appreciated. Very odd that Cobra, Tim Holmseth,(Reagan and others?) allege Haleigh’s purse was used for a dog to scent Haleigh, items including a nebulizer and car keys that belong to an impounded vehicle are found, but no confirmation from PCSO and no reports in major media?
Ms.P,
As I said before, I believe that MC and DB paths crossed before HaLeigh went missing. With all we “know” of these two, their “habits” and so forth… why was DB the chosen one? TM didn’t know of her pill flipping ways!! Those two just took to one another… that I am not buying. I know flippers can spot their own kind, this is too much of a coincidence.
jason, the police never acknowledged that cobra turned in keys to them? and i agree it is odd that it was not covered!
also, do you ever wonder why hc last weekend is such a mystery to the public? that always strikes me as odd. when people go missing they usually tell the public what/where the person has been. i know we have heard about her last day. maybe her last weekend is part of the investigation?
So this is where you guy’s have been hiding,I wondered!!
Thanks Anne for telling me where ya were!
cent, i remember reading your posts about that! i was impressed. remind me to never and try to put one over on you! i don’t know if it is true, but, it really is something to wonder about. it really is odd!!!!!
PAW69 said,in January 26th, 2010 at 10:28 pm Something is way too fishy.
Ya know, that bother’s me now too,why/who would be selling and keeping drugs around when their child’s gone missing, why would they walk by the road to sell to a person, knowing any moment they risk a search and especially since they’d been taken in a few times,I mean that’s pretty dumb!
What scares me the most is that LE is grasping at anything to get some answers they are clearly stumped in this case or trying to find a “motive” Even though they are guilty the only thing they are guilty of is drugs nothing is leading to Haleigh
in those docs too,KP say’s in an email she sent that she wanted to see the crack dealing Misty brought out of her trailer in cuff’s!
The lowest thing i ever heard was mg giving Haleigh’s shoes away? I am a grandma,I still have my Gson’s 1st little pair of 0 Nike’s and he’s 9 now!!!
Simon, is this what you were trying to hint at on Sunday’s show?? I really thought we were going to get some info on Haleigh. I admit I am interested and this is news but it is what it is and that is Misty is busted for selling drugs and Ronald was involved and they got caught. Thats all.

Denise,I gotta tell ya what I think now too,I think maybe Misty was lying but only b/c she wasn’t home and was afraid to tell Ronald,ya know because remember on the LD test when the guy who was giving it to her said, what are you not telling me just now? There’s something you’re not truthful about, that was after she said,I woke up and you know the rest!!!!
I am so glad everyone is starting to talk about the “fake search” and tim homselth I think all of it is weird and another thing when I try post a comment on AH about it he WILL NOT post the comment it stays in moderation and then gets deleted or heavily edited he even told me that. There is some covering up going on in this case and I think its about to explode! jmo

LoL Funny you mention that,OMG i was reading this coverup stuff today and went to AH site and blasted him and gave my opinion, went to mederating?? LoL It won’t show up!!Maybe,LoL
Unless they get mad enough to tackle me!
Lawenforcement didnt want the keys.
exactly Ann,they didn’t! Wanted none of it,they didn’t even take the door for 2 week’s!
When they asked mg for Haleigh’s shoes to use for scent, she stated she had gave them away!
Good point Cathyjo63 I agree if there is something that MIsty is hiding its that she is not there or someone was there that she doesnt want to mention. Why does everyone think they came in from the back door? Maybe they came in from the front door and left from the back door.
makes ya wonder how many lives have been ruined and innocent people sent to prison for covered up BS!
peggy said,in January 27th, 2010 at 9:23 am When I was reading the doc. with Misty and Donnas drug deal,Ithought it was interesting that Misty told the UC that they were in Va. and Brunswick Ga. That Donna had about a $1000.00 worth of pills to sell because she needed the money. Afew sentences later said that Donna would get a few hundred more in about 3 months. To me it says that maybe Donna was a main supplier.
———
Peggy,
How does Va and Ga come into play??? I an trying to catch up here and I havent read this. Can you explain? Thanks
Exactly right Denise, and b/c she couldn’t tell Ron because she was afraid to and no wonder,i would be too if i was babysitting my bf’s kid’s and they were taken and i couldn’t explain it!! It makes me wonder now too about the rose they said she talked about! Then the SAY they found a rose?? but nothing else.
these ppl deserve life plus b/c they’ve done more damage and hid everything knowing they were framing someone! and who was really involved! I say, allllllll of em’ should take R & M’s place!
Makes ya wonder too if they didn’t know Misty was seeking drug’s that night and HAD her robbed so it would be made public!!
AnneInTn said,in January 27th, 2010 at 8:47 pm thank you ann. it sure is an odd part of the story!
You’d think as young as Misty is and time she is facing she’d tell………but how can she if she doesn’t REALLY know??
Something to think about!!

Ohh Denise, you and me,why do you think I’ve been posting from here to zamboo all these article’s,This is people’s lives here, and I assumed before the LE was doing their job and listened to what they said and never even suspected anyone else except M & R!!
I should’ve known betttttter!
After my own husband’s case was botched the same way!!!
In my husband’s case the monster who took his life took the weapon in 2 week’s later after asking his friend to hit him with it so it would look like he hit him,my husband was totally disabled from a roof fall just 3 week’s before! His hip was broken, had just had a pin placed in it,his rt arm was broke twice and his left wrist was broke and he hit him?? The newspapers here reported he hit my husband with a limb………A limb is what my parents used when i was mean,it didn’t kill me but anyway infact it was a hickory club,he made after my husband was disabled,3 feet long,6 inches round
and he even “snuck up behind him” to do it!
Great posts guys. Cathyjo so sorry to hear about your case. Just another reminder of how in some cases LE is filthy dirty, lower than the lowest as they are given positions of authority and trust from the citizens they are to protect and serve. Not putting down good clean cops, we have many above Honorable Le out there. But it doesn’t take but just one warped crook to mess up a case.
I think we all agree by now Haleigh’s case has been messed with badly, we just don’t know the names, or they haven’t been publically outed, yet. Hopefully it will be, along with who removed Haleigh from her home.
I want all the truth. I am reading Timothy Holsmeth’s site, and keeping all options open. I’ve seen some call him insane, a kook, blah blah. How can you deny the tapes he has? How can the emails, documents, facts he has posted be ignored? Why is so many trying to hide his site? Hinder any publishings regarding what he documents and writes? Why? Who is it exposing? What is it telling? The truth? Well some of the truth is coming out of there.
He’s armed apparently with more info, been holding onto facts and evidence piecing it together as he makes the puzzle pieces fit in order to understand whats going on. Some even say well why hasn’t he released so and so before now! Maybe he’s just now putting two and two together and how it applies to the case. Is that so hard to understand and get? No it isn’t. He’s had to start from scratch just like the rest of us.
He didn’t receive the answers, then a jumble puzzle and told now put it together. He received bit by bit, recording by tape, interviews, emails, phone calls, people learning of him, divulging useful parts to this case and he’s trying to align them up to be sensible. Not one person has all the answers to this hot mess. It’s taking time to figure out the wrong doing of apparently many involved.
And ooooh my gosh, please let me speak about this drug dealing. Am I correct in understanding the drugs were Loratabs? Baaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaa oh my goodness. I am flabbergasted. I can’t believe all this hoopla, arrests, media circus and crap over loratabs? That aren’t strong than a darn motrin 800 miligram? I thought there was drug buys and busts? My mind is blown away. Is this all LE has? Loratabs? LOL

==========
If I am not mistaken Connie S found the car keys after they had stopped searching. Also found on the search was a suitcase with a bus schedule(which just appeared out of no where according to someone that was there), a piece of cloth with rust stains or blood stains, toys, bloody glove and neubulizer.John Regan bagged the stuff up and stuck it in the vehicle and LE was not called, Regan called cobra instead. On the search was Marty/Connie, Marie/Bruce, John Reagan, a dog handler, somebody else but the name/s escapes me for now.
CathiJo, so very sorry for your loss and what a POS the person is who did it.
CathyJo63;
Per an onsite source/witness. The shoes WERE given away. They were given ti Chad’s child, so they were still in the household, but I was extremely shocked they weren’t on a mantel somewhere!
AP per questions about Misty being in VA & GA:
Call #1: Cummings advised Det._ that she was coming from Virginia
http://download.gannett.edgesuite.net/wtlv/docs/012610_croslin4.pdf
Cummings stated that
she was traveling and would be in Brunswick, Georgia at 0223 hours. Cummings stated that “she” (Brock) does
not live where Cummings lives and that “she” (Brock) lives in Orlando.
If DB lives in Orlando, she may be renting. There are no property records in all the ones I have found for both DB & BB for Orlando. Anyone remember something significant happening just prior to June 19th? Something to do with Haleigh’s case? I’ll go look….Does DB match any sighting descriptions? There were 4 in her nearby area of NC…..1)Knoxville TN 2)North Augusta SC 3) 2 GA sightings. I too feel that TM isn’t the first time DB & MC met. CHecking into it.
Strangly enough DB also owns property in San Diego. Wsn;t Haleigh sighted in CA too? Also dismissed as not being her?
Kool Look;
Some Loritabs (They are a schedule 1 drug, so they are felony terrotory. FL can impose a 10 yr sentence per pill. I know this to ba a fact as my friend’s 80 something yr old dad got popped for selling his.My friend paid over $40,000.000 to help his dad’s legal fees. Later charges were dropped & probation was issued.
They also got popped with synthetic heroin. If it had been actual black tar heroin, would that be minor or silly? These pills when crushed and snorted or injected have the exact same effect as other heroins and the exact same addictive properties. I have to disagree that it is a minor matter, JMO though.
There are sooo many more details about that search that haven’t been told. It will all come out though…..
Anybody notice this?
“Now investigators are able to question five of the people who were closest to the girl, looking for any possible clues as to what happened to her.”
http://www.news4jax.com/news/22346617/detail.html
5 of the people closest to Haleigh? 5???
I can’t open the pdf files up to read the reports. First I heard of synthetic heroine, which is a higher grade narcotic, of course.
I was really dripping with sarcasm concerning the Loratabs. I know the schedule I narcotic they are, and how they fall on the list as a controlled substance. The first and lowest beginning on the scale of narcotic pain relievers. Which, like I stated, are no stronger than a motrin 800 mg pill. I’m not down playing the importance. And of course, if you take several, many and then crush them too, and add them to other substances, and alcohol, etc… you could have a deadly cocktail for sure. I certainly understand that and appreciate your post.
I just was totally shocked to learn of loratabs. Though I know it’s a controlled schedule I narcotic, they ought not be, LOL But the law is the law, and I agree we have to obey the laws of the land. I was being sarcastic and mocking, sorry didn’t mean to not appreciate your point made, as I truly do. I was just trying to make a point, prolly a stupid point. Sorry and hugs
Kool Look, not a stupid point at all, you were just stating with all the hoopla and astronomical amounts on bail you thought it would be big time drugs not something given for a hang nail or tooth ache. I thought your post was right on.
Kool Look:
Hugs back! No problem, just adding my info as well. Sometimes I start a post adressed to one person and then go on to address another idea withoutspecifying who I was directing it to. Sorry.
THe Lori’s should be lesser crimes to be sure, it’s they oxies that scare the heck out of me. My area has lost about 20 young people to that same exact drug over the last decade. It is a very serious drug & problem. Very scary to be involved with on any level. I feel sorry for the people who need to take it due to terribly painfull conditions. I have been doing a lot of research on this topic since arrests and on many forums people who have been taking them, prescribed even, for yrs orally are no longer getting relief. If they have to take more than 4 a day, snorting it all is out of the question. They are now posting questions about injecting to get the relief they still need. Can you imagine?!? Having to inject your meds just to get relief? Awful, just awful. Many are signing a patition to have the manufacturer pull the drug from the market all together, they are so dangerous. So, to me, someone who is making this controlled drug available to anyone with a $20 bill or two is very scary! Once you start, it’s almost impossible to stop.
There was a Gregg arrested on Jan 26 2010. The code for his arrest perfectly matched Ron & co’s (the numbers for infraction). It says he was selling/possesion of drugs but doesn’t specify what type…odd?
Is this the Gregg that held the party? Is he another “arrest” that was promised? Are we really paying attention or are we just assuming that Ron & co are the only ones being arrested because the media isn’t telling us all about the others? There are a lot of washed out looking people being arrested for all kinds of crimes. Many are stealing/robbing to support their habits.
There was a guy who lived her. I didn’t know him much, just a brief intro through a family member once. Anyway, he & his wife, at different times, would give themselves a 2nd to 3rd degree burn on their arm or leg so that they could go to the ER and get Loir’s and/or Oxies. Now, that’s a habit!!! He died about a year later while mainlining some oxy. He was in his middle 20’s.
@me
Your saying that more people die from alcohol use than all drugs combined and therefore drug dealers do not really deserve long prison terms is like saying more people die from gun shot wounds than knife wounds or blunt force trama, so none gun users should not be dealt with harshly.
It is skewed logic at best. Even though drug users may not die from their act, they cause harm to others. They rob others to get money, Tommy and mom are a prime example. Drug dealers do not mind killing the competion or people who owe them money or innocent by standers/witnesses. People on drugs are not predictable in their behavior and can quickly become violent. Drug users don’t care about much beyond the next fix and that includes the well being of their children.
Yes, alcohol use is bad, and legalizing it has not made it any better, but drug use is equally bad and a bane on society. If convicted in a court of law all drug dealers should do the max time, not the minimum.
Since you have such compassion for the drug dealing crowd, you should find great comfort in the fact that the states attorney in Fl drops or plea deals 90% of all drug related charges. Ron’s record is a prime example. Jacksonvilles’s murder rate is a prime example of the results.
Sorry, I did not have time to spell/ grammar check as I am on my way to work.
oh dear, yesterday i made posts that never showed up. i tried making a post twice just now. i am going to try one more time and break it up into smaller posts. i have to run now, so i am going to try again now instead of waiting for a while. so i am sorry if it comes up three times. (yesterday – i had typed out drugs and charges for ea count. so maybe trying to post about drugs is a no-no.)
Morning, ms. P!
Whenever you have a question about something – like if a comment doesn’t show up or if a topic/info is allowed, just email Jan! She’s a great person and she’ll be glad to help you.
IMO it’s probably just a technical problem of some sort or it’s possible that some posts go into random moderation during the night when Jan is not awake (I HOPE!) to view them and let them post. But please just email and ask her!
I should have added that Jan is human, too! So she has a life outside of BNN (I hope!) and “human” things to do and to cope with just like all the rest of us. So if she does not respond immediately, it’s well, it’s because she’s human! 🙂
The following is a comment from ms.peridot19. She was having problems getting it to post for her so I am doing it for her.

an article called hydrocodone http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lortab
—
Due to its opiate-related side effects such as euphoria, sedation and somnolence, hydrocodone is now one of the most widely misused prescription drugs in America, along with its cousin oxycodone. Hydrocodone misuse is particularly prevalent among teenagers and young adults because of the drug’s widespread availability…
hydrocodone… In the U.S., formulations containing… less than or equal to 15 mg per dosage unit in combination with acetaminophen or another non-controlled drug are called hydrocodone compounds and are considered Schedule III drugs.

((note: oxycodone is a class II drug. A synthetic opiate. It is sold under brand names such as Oxycontin and Percocets as well as Roxicodone. It’s effects are similar to heroin))

Strange logic…actually it is your reasoning that is flawed…what I said would be comparable to saying it would be hypocritical and silly if the laws allowed you to cause someone injury with a knife, but made it illegal to injure someone with a gun.
We need to get the drug dealers off of the streets. That is the bottom line. People know that they could get caught when they deal drugs, and they know what kind of sentence they will likely serve. Noone is doing this to them. They are doing it to themselves. How would we feel, if it were our kids that are buying the drugs from these people? We would want them off the streets.
Hi, Karon!
The leaders in the drug business need to be put out of business and that’s what’s so very hard for LE to do.
Taking the small time dealers off the street is easy and not much use. As long as the supply is coming in – and the demand is there -someone else will step in.
So I will reserve my “admiration” for LE until they take down a Dr or clinic that’s disseminating Rx illegally or a meth manufacturer/dealer or a coke or heroin importer/transporter. The “Misty Mob” or whatever is an utter joke. Not saying what they were doing wasn’t bad – it was – but in the scheme of things not even a drop in the bucket as far as the drug trade goes.
@me
My logic is pretty straight forward: If you break the law and are convicted of the crime you serve the time.
