We will be running our regular Sunday program on Blog Talk Radio at 3pm central. We will be talking about the developments in three disturbing cases, missing 5 year old Haleigh Cummings, dead two year old Caylee Anthony, and the bizarre Louisiana missing person case of Zachary Pittman.

It is doubtful that our regular panellist TJ Hart will be able to join us, he and his wife are attending the wedding of their daughter. I am sure that you will all join us in wishing this young lady and her new husband every happiness in the world.

We will have the rest of the panel in place, the crime doctor Denny Griffin, and investigator Peter Hyatt. There is also a distinct possibility that we might be joined by some other new faces.

In the Haleigh Cummings case the week has produced little of any significance. Tommy Croslin is facing a sentencing hearing in early July. There is a huge amount of speculation as to what the sentence will be. While Tommy Croslin seems confident that he faces no more than 3 years on the drug trafficking charges, few people share his optimism. Both Hope Sykes , Donna Brock, and Ronald Cummings have witnessed the largess of the court system. I am not really into numerology, but the magic number of 15 seems to be a reoccurring theme.

The Caylee Anthony case continues to creep toward a resolution, and the Nightmare Dream Team defending mother Casey Anthony still seems to be clutching at straws. What I am finding interesting is that they seem to have dropped their (unlikely to stick) plans to pin the blame on Zanny the nanny, the Grund family, or Meter Reader Roy Kronk. Judge Perry seems to have Jose Baez on a very leash,  I for one wonder how life in the Baez camp is these days?

I am sure that there have been some harsh words spoken on the subject of getting Judge Strickland removed from the case. The Death Penalty still sits on the table, I have to admit that I personally don’t think that the prosecution can pull it off. But I do wonder how long the ‘Angel of Death Row’ Andrea Lyon will stick with the case, this might blight her otherwise perfect record.

Much of this week has been spent with us looking at another case, Zachary Pittman. Zach disappeared on June 24/2009.  His case received very little attention at that time. In fact it continues to receive little attention. My calls to the St Tammany Parish Sheriffs Office have gone unreturned. This morning I took it higher up the food chain. I contacted the office of the president of St Tammany Parish’s Office. The liaison officer Suzanne Parsons did return my call! She explained that the Sheriffs office is an autonomous  organization, however she would reach out to them and see if they would talk to me.

There are lots of twists and turns in this case. Even in the short time that Jan and I have been poking around in it, it has become clear that there is much more than meets the eyes. We are not willing to go public at this stage, but I am beginning to smell some very large rats. Could the son of an elected official be involved? Did a red car have a part in the case?

Only time will tell.

You will not want to miss this Sundays program. To listen in point your browser to www.blogtalkradio.com a few minutes before 3pm central and you will see the link on the front page, alternatively you can use this link.
