I am a big fan of horror movies so when this one came in I wanted to watch it and see what I thought of it. This movie was directed by Luis Camara and the DVD is 93 minutes long.

The scene starts out at a New Year’s Party just at the stroke of midnight and everyone celebrating as they bring the New Year in. The party is being held on the top floor of an abandoned high-rise building. The guests at the party mingle with each other including, Wade Everett (Mark Wilson), the band’s lead singer, Kathy King (Georgia MacKenzie), A TV Celebrity Chef with her own cooking show, Nicole (Julia Ballard) who brought her boyfriend Robert (Pascal Langdale) to the party with her. Then there was the flirt Melanie (Annabelle Wallis) who ended up being with Adam (Adam Rayner) at the party. Then there was Pamela Reynolds (Joanna Bobin), a colleague from the TV station of Kathy’s who is nothing more than a pest to Kathy.

What do these seven people have in common? As far as they knew nothing but someone thinks they do. Each receive a text message inviting them to a private party up on the 27th floor and they are instructed to use the code 101 when they get on the elevator.

Once on the 27th floor they find a room filled with party decorations with name tags for each. Kathy has “loser”, Wade has “loverboy”, Nicole has “heartless”, Adam has “pig” and Pamela  has “two-faced”. Since Melanie and Robert weren’t invited they get no name tags but they stick around for the fun.

The group soon find out that they are trapped on the 27th floor and the only way out is to follow a series of riddles which each has a clue as to where to find the next one, which unfortunately each of the one riddles lead them to the gruesome death of one of them.
The first clue is found under the cake. It says, “This Little Piggy found silver, this little piggy found gold, this little piggy at my cake, this little piggy had none, and this little piggy cried wee, wee, wee all the way to room 2721.” Now the hunt begins.

I was confused a bit at times on when guessing who the killer really was. I have to admit. I didn’t figure it out until the end for sure. In my mind they were all suspects but in the end the true identity of the killer is finally revealed and you might be surprised to see who it is.

If you like Thriller’s and can stomach some gory scenes then perhaps you should watch this movie. The DVD release date is scheduled for July 15, 2008. You will be able to find it at Amazon.
