This film was done in Jean-Claude Van Damme’s early career. I believe it was like his third film made. I have always enjoyed his films. We watched them a lot while my two sons were growing up.

This one starts out with an aircraft, belonging to the US Air Force, an F-111 Aardvark that has a new laser guidance system, crashes into the sea near Malta. This is an area that happens to have the Soviet forces swarming around pretty heavily.

The KGB jumps on it by sending their team in, led by Andrei (Jean-Claude Van Damme, to locate the aircraft before the CIA can. The CIA calls in their best man for the job, Master martial- artist Ken Tani (Sho Kosugi) to save the system before the KGB find it. Tani along with CIA agent Patricia Parker (Doran Clark) and his sons Brian (Kane Kosugi) and Denny (Shane Kosugi) head out to Malta in hopes of finding the device before the KGB does.

KGB agent Vladimir Klimenko (Vladimir Skomarovsky) has Andrei as his right hand man. They kill their first US Agent that arrived at the scene which causes the US to take drastic measures.

If you are into martial art films you just might enjoy this one. You can view the trailer below that will likely help you decide that you have to see this movie. It is available now on Blu-Ray.
