It was another active news show. There are as many theories as there are people who listen in to our show.

Our panel was smaller than usual, it was just Jan Barrett, Ms. Pickles and myself. But it was an interesting show. I think it would be fair to say that all three of us are outspoken and have strong opinions. We may not always agree, but that is the excitement of live radio.

On the Caylee Anthony case, the past week has been fairly quiet, on hard news. Of course the civil case brought by Zenaida Gonzalez is plowing ahead, George and Cindy Anthony have managed to escape the deposition bullet for the time being, claiming that they are not mentally or emotionally able to deal with the rigors of a deposition.

Brother Lee managed to make his way through it, so why not George and Cindy? In fact brother Lee made it through a little too glib in my estimation. I have been deposed a couple of times as an ‘expert witness’ and humor is about the last thing that enters the room. Is this just more of the smoke screen that seems to have become synonymous with the Anthony family?

On the Haleigh Cummings case, people are also confused, there is so much does not add up. Fueling the media fire is the reticence of law enforcement to share information.

When you compare the two cases, which are both Florida based, you find two very different styles. Caylee is all about T-shirts and media hype, Haleigh is much lower key, there are no ‘Spokes Persons’, there are no ‘Experts’ popping up on the Nancy Grace show, and there are no lawyers generating huge amounts of ‘white noise’.

Ronald Cummings may be faulted for having a 17 year old girlfriend, but he himself is only 24. As far as I can see, both Ronald and Misty Croslin have been more than cooperative with law enforcement. Yes their lifestyle may not make the covers of Home And Garden, but they seem like decent people. A far cry from the Anthony case.

I have to admit that I love live radio, there is no editing, no going back. Maybe that is the lure. People speak their mind, and if you missed our live broadcast, you can catch the recording here.
