Autism Campaigners around the world are to wear autism awareness ribbons to mark the first major disability event for 2010 – Autism Sunday, scheduled to be observed across many nations on Sunday 14th February. Autism Sunday is also known as the International Day of Prayer for Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome, remembering 60 million people with autism across the nations.
Cathedrals, churches and religious organisations will be holding services. Autism organisations are planning to organise awareness raising events. Campaigners are also writing to Heads of State urging action on autism and Asperger’s Syndrome to mark Autism Sunday.
The autism awareness ribbon has become powerful symbol when it comes to raising awareness of autism and Asperger’s Syndrome.

Autism is a National Emergency and it’s time to recognize that. 1 in every 110 children are now diagnosed with this. Today, Jan 22nd, is the LAST day to vote for the National Autism Association. They’re currently in 7th place and need to be 6th or better to win $100,000 for their programs! You could really make a difference for lots of families affected by autism. PLEASE take a little time to vote today and then share this link with all your Face Book friends. http://www.VoteAutismNow.com – Thank you!
