If what the Gambia’s secretary of state for research and higher education said last week is anything to go by, then Gambia would soon start supplying herbal medicine to the Bolivian republic of Venezuela. At the country’s legislative chambers on Thursday, Grispin Grey-Johnson told parliamentarians that, considering the excellent bi-lateral ties between The Gambia and Venezuela, the former seeks to widen the scope of the relationship by now providing 2000 dozens of herbal medicine to Venezuela.

According to Mr Johnson, this gesture would strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two country’s as well as consolidate the south-south cooperation.

The 2000 dozens of herbal medicine to be given to the Bolivian republic would include those for Aids, diabetes and asthma.
