adam-mayes.jpgThe story keeps unfolding as the days go by about the kidnapping of the mother and her three daughters, who was reported missing on April 27, 2012.  Now according to Adam Mayes’s mother-in-law, Josie Tate, he seemed to believe that the two younger girls, Alexandria and Kyliyah Bain were his own daughters and it had started causing him trouble in his marriage to Teresa Mayes.

Tate told authorities that Teresa was tired of him doting on the two girls that he claimed was his. Teresa Mayes told the police that she saw her husband kill Jo Ann Bain and her 14 year old daughter, Adrienne (pictured below) while in the garage at the Bain home in Whiteville, Tennessee on April 27 so he could take the two younger sisters. She said that she drove her husband along with the two girls and two dead bodies to Mississippi where he buried the bodies outside the Mayes home in Guntown, Mississippi.

Adam Mayes’s wife was arrested. Adam Mayes and Teresa Mayes are both being charged with first degree murder in the deaths of Jo Ann and Adrienne Bain. Teresa is facing six felony counts in this case, being two first degree murder charges and four especially kidnapping charges. The FBI has placed Adam Mayes on their Ten Most Wanted List and they are urging him to turn himself in.

Tate’s daughter, Bobbi Booth said that Teresa Mayes suspected that her husband was having an affair with Jo Ann Bain. He apparently was at the Bain home quite often. Tate believes that Mayes had threatened her daughter and perhaps his own mother, Mary Frances Mayes, who has also been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit especially aggravated kidnapping but her attorney, Terry Dycus, said his client maintains she is not guilty.

FBI Special Agent Aaron Ford said Wednesday at a new conference, “Turn the girls in, and then peaceably and safely turn yourself in to law enforcement.” He also says that they believe Mayes could be anywhere in the United States and they are extremely concerned for the safety of the two girls.

Mayes was caught on a surveillance camera at a convenience store that he often went to on April 30. The clerk in the store, Nick Barghouthi that Mayes has changed his appearance. He used to wear his hair in a pony tail but he has cut it and no longer has the pony tail. He turned the surveillance tape over to authorities, which was released Tuesday. The FBI suspects that Mayes has probably changed the girl’s appearance as well now.

There is a reward out for information leading to the arrest of Mayes in the amount of $100,000 now. As for the two girls, pictured below, Mayes has taken they are, 12 year old Alexandria Bain who has brown hair and hazel eyes and she is 5 ft tall and 105 lbs. Her little 8 year old sister, Kyliyah has blonde hair and brown eyes. She is 4 ft tall and weighs 57 lbs.

I am praying that since Mayes thinks the girls are his own daughters that he won’t do any harm to them but who knows what is going through his mind. I pray he won’t hurt them. I can only imagine how scared they both must be. Please God, watch over them and bring them home safe and sound.

If you or anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Adam Mayes and Alexandria and Kyliyah Bain please contact the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-824-3463. If you spot them he could be dangerous so call your local police or FBI. Don’t approach them yourself.
