Jan and I were unsure as to scheduling a program this Sunday was a great idea. Easter Sunday is a time for family and reflection. After some careful consideration, we have decided to go on air. Our panel will be a little less than usual, but there are lots of aspects to discuss.
It was with humor that I read the Main Stream Media when they released the news that Judge Perry would allow the car trunk stain evidence in. To most people following the case this was a forgone conclusion. Of course introducing evidence, and proving validity of it at trial is a far different thing.
In my mind the big event of the week was the release of the Tony Lazzaro deposition. It was commissioned by the defense. But having read it several times it seems like a double edged sword. Lazzaro might be able to assist to defense in talking about what a great mother Casey was, but he is also a huge liability. Is he the Casey Anthony version of OJ Simpson’s Brian Jerard “Kato” Kaelin (just call me Kato).
The Lazzaro deposition is very curious. It says a number of things. The car didn’t smell of dead things. Casey Anthony was the next best thing to Mom Of The Year. Her mother Cindy Anthony and father George Anthony came in for less glowing praise.
…she made it sound like her dad was was this really bad guy
Is this depo the anchor point of trying to pin the whole thing on George? Rumors have been swirling for some time. The defense team have thrown many mud balls at the wall. Zanny the Nanny is done, The Meter Reader Roy Kronk maybe has a ‘kronked’ past, but no-one is buying into the game. The Grund attack will just leave people laughing. So what is left? Pretty slim pickings is the answer. Cheney Mason has been ‘floating’ the accidental drowning theory, and had Casey fessed up to it, she would be free today.
My suspicion is that the defense are going to try to pin this on George. What a waste of time. George couldn’t plan a ‘drunk in a brewery’, never mind topping a tot.
Join us on Sunday as we discuss this weeks events. You can use this this link to listen live.

Thanks for going ahead with the show, I wouldn’t miss it!
Conflicted by my opinion: I don’t want her to get DP for accidental murder, but I do want her to FRY for the lies/computer searches/not reporting/shovel/trunk/triple bag duct tape/body dump/total lack of concern/cover up/stealing/partying/tattoo/imaginanny/no job/and did I mention LIES/wasting millions of tax dollars to prove the obvious. IF she had come clean and acted like a grieving mom, I couldn’t convict her of bad judgement, however, when you drive around with your dead child in the trunk and just toss her in the woods so you can Bella Vita like its 1999, then HELL awaits.
Just how many times did Lazarro see Caylee?
From what I recall he only saw her once, at the pool and every time he and his friends would see Casey they would tease her “who’s got the kid today?” because she was not with her( she was already dead).
I’ve been studying everyone’s depositions, but haven’t read Tony’s-yet. I got the feeling Geo was more than a little over protective of Casey, all this chasing her around stuff aint normal. None of what I read so far is very normal. Not 1 time in 31 days did they ever call the police to make any kind of report and those 3 911 calls seem like someone was building momentum up, putting things in place prior, getting other people involved prior to this shocking claim. I despise these liars. On a side note, what are the odds that Cindy’s 2nd day deposition would total to triple 6 pages?
While I love what Cobra adds to the show, I strongly disagree with his prediction that Casey Anthony will walk. Even if she’s not found guilty of the serious charges there are the 4 four counts of providing false information to police. These counts carry a 5 year sentence each:

There is NO WAY she can beat these Four charges. Her own former attorney, Linda Kenney Baden, admits on ’48 Hours Mystery’ that she lied about the nanny. Casey herself admitted in her Universal interview that she lied to police officers.
I believe the judge will give her the maximum sentence on each one of these charges which would be 20 years! I don’t know if she can serve them concurrently or not. I doubt it.
The only place Casey is walking to is back to her cell after the trial is over.
I think KC is gonna walk, after she throws one or both of her parents under the bus and they can then connect the dots on this bizarre case. It’ll be a convinience for her as we can’t believe nothing her parents say and there has been too many bizarre things said prior and right through this tragedy. I think it has always been the plan to point at KC and allow others to believe this because both her parents know the real truth and they will never let it go as far as sitting through a death penalty case. Grandstanding at it’s finest. Nothing will compare until we hear what REALLY happened and who manipulated who in all this.
The deposition Tony Lazarro gave to the state early on in this case was entirely different from this deposition. I recall that in his state deposition, he clearly stated that when he went to pick Casey up on June 23rd, she was standing quite a distance away from her car. After they had gone to her parent’s house to steal one of her father’s gas cans and returned to her car, Tony stated he never got out of his car since Casey insisted on pouring the gas into the car herself. In other words, he only observed her car at a distance which was the reason he never smelled any odor emanating from her car trunk.
On his June 27th rescue of Casey, he stated that she was walking on the side of the road near the Amscot parking lot. He again did not get out of his car and may have observed her car at a distance. Since she said she was leaving her car in the parking lot so her father could have it fixed, she simply got into Tony’s car and he drove her back to his apartment.
I think his original deposition is the most accurate, and had he been able to review this deposition, his memory might have been instantly refreshed to recall the exact circumstances rather than starting from scratch almost three years after the fact. In fact, during the deposition taken by the defense, he relied on what he might ordinarily do in such a situation but during the actual situation he did whatever Casey directed him to do.
Cobra’s theories really detract from the show.
