Teach Naked in China: One way to get a rise out of students ![]() We have all had those days when we were sure that there was nothing we could do to energize a class. Well, Mo Xiaoxin, a 56-year-old assistant professor at a university in Changzhou, may have a solution: According to CNN Mo arranged for four other models (Larry Curly, Shepp and Joe) to strip with him for an art class. I am not sure what was worse, the fact that the professor peeled off his duds or that he enlisted the aid of a man and woman in their 70s or 80s along with a young couple. Mind you, he was lecturing this entire time. Students described him as "emotionally excited at the time," but the article fails to tell us what tipped them off. Warning: do not visualize this! Here is where he really lost a shot at tenure: He invited other students to strip too. So, what I want to know is: who was left to capture the moment and with what did they draw? The really hilarious part of this story came in the form of remarks by a culture ministry official: Though some of the students felt "uneasy" and some "awkwardly bowed their heads and stared at the ground", the minister said the course was still in a "research phase" and it wasn't yet known whether it had produced "positive or negative effects."
