Who is Elmo really laughing at?? (Forget the fact that this doll will be as available as gravel in a parking lot AFTER Christmas.) When I first heard about the new "T.M.X Elmo", I immediately knew their clever marketing commitee would employ the exact same method for popular consumption as they did for the original "Tickle Me Elmo". Yet, I admit to assuming that people would not be as stupid to fall for the hype after the fiasco set forth 10 years ago. I was wrong. Is this toy really worth commiting a crime for?? 1.) Stealing to feed your family? Occasionally. 2.) Killing in the name of self-defense? Possibly. 3.) Ignoring the other 100,000+ talking, noisey toys in the store so that you can be the "best parent on the block"? (If you hesitated for more than 4 nano-seconds after reading that last question, you need to be locked up without a jury or the remote possibilty of parole!) It will surely spark some creative answers to the question; "What are you in for?" The only ones laughing louder than this toy, are the communists and terrorists our nation is trying to scare into submission. L-O-L -W. This reminds me of Cabbage Patch dolls and others I could name. Scary that our children's wants and desires over rule our common sense and sense of proper behavior.
