Well, at least she had a good reason You would think there would be nothing funny about that. After all, she can become a guest at the Grey Bar Motel for several years over this and he took a bullet through the shoulder. However, this article seems to be having a good time with it. For example: "The chicken died at the scene." Or this classic line; It looked like `CSI,'" said neighbor Cheyenne Dickenson, who arrived home Monday night to find police cars parked at the end of the driveway she shares with the Grays the Register-Guard reported. "There were dead chickens lying all over the place." So I am a little confused; is this an article about a wife shooting a husband because he (allegedly) shot her pet chicken? Or is a redux of the fox in the henhouse? Do we have a serial (chicken) killer on the loose? Will they be having open caskets? In the end, it is sad that people can be in their mid to late 50s and still find a pet worth shooting each other. You would like to think by that time maturity had taken over. With nonsense like this going on is it really any surprise we have seen two school shootings in two days? For me, at least, it is hard not to laugh. I guess if people are going to get so emotionally attached to a chicken that one will shoot chickens to infuriate the other and the angry one will shoot the chicken slayer we can at least be thankful nobody was killed. After all, there is really no other option. I mean, it isn't like they could get a divorce...
