Too bad the VCR still blinks 12:00...12:00...12:00

Pink Cadillacs have had movies made about them. Pink Flamingos have had bad taste become their byword. And Pink Nissans have been purchased on the Internet...by a 3 year old. Inspired by the security promises the mother chooses to leave encrypted information on her computer and her child, which one assumes can only be desccribed as precocious, elects to purchase the cutest little thing...
It is all well and good to know your child is computer friendly and tech savvy...and scary to think you can have your future mortgaged by an ill-timed Buy Now press of the button. In an information age such as we live in where your identity is more "real" in cyberspace than in real life she is lucky to have gotten off this easy.
The question for parents used to be "Do you know where your children are?" Now it is "Do you know what your children just bought (with your saved information)?"
