TO: OD or not OD?

Mystery continues to surround the circumstances of Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens and his trip to the emergency room on Tuesday. Initially labeled a suicide attempt, the episode is now being called an accidental overdose, and police consider the matter closed. But it's still unclear exactly which pills T.O. swallowed and why, and what prompted him to answer "yes" when police asked him at the scene whether he had tried to hurt himself. Meanwhile, today he fired his personal trainer, who had disclosed details of T.O.'s personal life to the media. People close to T.O. have been falling all over themselves trying to demonstrate that the star player has ample reason to be "depressed," while the man himself is tight-lipped.

What really happened on Tuesday? Who knows. But it seems pretty likely that the folks in Dallas have yet to hear the end of the Terrell Owens Soap Opera. Football, schmootball!
