Street Riots in Budapest Great googly-moogly, riots, stone-throwing and rampant hooliganism in the streets of a major European city… and it is not the local adherents of the “Religion of Peace”*? Butter my buns and call me a biscuit… that has the charm of the unusual, these days. It seems that locals are irate because their newly-elected Prime Minister Ference Gyurcsany is a little more of a stretcher of the accepted truth than they are used to dealing with. Wadding up the front page of the newspaper and throwing it towards the wastebasket just does not adequately express their feelings on the matter. And that, too, has the charm of the unusual.
