Sick Of Myspace? Move Onto The Next Best Thing!

Wallop, a Microsoft spinoff, debuted this week, including a wide assortment of prepackaged HTML goodies that will allow it to be a social networking experience very similar to Myspace.

Wallop is intended to be used for the same purposes as Myspace or Facebook, but the designers of it had realized that its aforementioned predecessors had made for awkward coding and primitive HTML and alterations.

According to PC Magazine, "Wallop plans to sell "Mods," from millions of the best Adobe Flash developers and designers, allowing people to add customized content to their Wallop pages without having to develop it themselves. The site's creators also touted their one-click model of setting up Web pages. "

"After taking a long, hard look at social computing, it became clear that it is not simply about the technology, which has been limited and plagued with problems to date," said Karl Jacob, chief executive and founder of Wallop, in a statement. "It's about the trend of self-expression moving online, creating enormous demand for easy and limitless customization and an enlightened social experience where the user is in control."

Much like Myspace, users will be able to share music and video codes, and allow people to visit their page on an invitational basis. So look out Myspace. Your HTML butt is about to be kicked.

I wont suceed in replacing MySpace's legendary status. This is how the creators of Bid.com felt about their opponent, eBay, and eBay still remains to be a household name.

MySpace renovates itself on a weekly basis, and continues to make itself more and more user friendly. While some people may initially choose to use this new site, few will actually leave MySpace for it.
