Roger Ailes assaults all journalists

In attacking Bill Clinton's Chris Wallace interview as "an assault on all journalists," it's Fox News chief Roger Ailes who is an embarrassment to the profession.

Of course, Clinton's interview with Chris Wallace was pretty ridiculous in itself (it's important to note the former president was calm for five minutes before the much-excerpted blowup, though Clinton does unfairly call Wallace's questioning a "conservative hit job"). But as a major network newsperson, it is Wallace's job to work with tough interviewees. And it's really not Ailes' place as head of a news organization to make subjective criticisms of a public figure.
