Rich Keep Getting Richer The biggest jumper on the list is casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, who jumped from 15th to 3rd. Adelson is now worth a reported $20.5 billion. Adelson's expanding net worth is related in no small part to his decision to open a casino two years ago on the island of Macau, an emerging gambling haven off the southeastern coast of China. It's reported that over the past two years, Adelson has been earning $1 million an hour. Impressive, but not as impressive as the $6.10 I earned lifeguarding over the summer. The list also includes Google.com co-founders, Sergey Brin and Larry Page, who at 33 years of age are the youngest two men on the list. Brin and Page are also two of only 8 of the top 400 who are under the age of 40. Brin and Page report in at 12th and 13th, respectively. Of the 400, California is the home of 90, tops of any other city. New York city comes in second, being home to 44.
