Read the Bills For more by theDonnybrook, visit The Grey Area. It almost seems no surprise that members in congress don't read all the bills that come across their desks. The most bothersome is that this occurs with bills they pass. Maybe a new bill will fix that problem. Clearly, there is a problem with Congress if they pass laws they don't read, like the Patriot Act. This raises the question of how well we are being represented as citizens.
