Principal Shot According to a TV report, the gunman was a former student and the principal was shot several times. His condition is currently unknown. Local television stations have reported that the shooting happened in the Weston School, an elementary-through-high school complex, which is in Sauk County. Weston is about 70 miles northwest of Madison, Wis. The gunman was soon after disarmed and taken into custody, which is a much better result than what had previously occured in Colorodo on Wednesday when a student was tragically shot and then the gun man killed himself shortly after before SWAT team members reached him.
