President Addresses Congress on Terrorism Legislation Well, considering how Americans taken captive have been treated by the various parties who have been able to capture them in the last three years, I am not all sure we stand to gain much from the enemy as regards fair treatment of the American POWs they hold, no matter how rigorously we pay attention to, or revise the Geneva Convention provisions. Any one else wonder… are we taking very many prisoners in combat situations, lately?
