Pope Angers Turkey The Pope has apologized for the offense, but has not retracted his statements. Allthough it is not uncommon for Turkey to take preceedings against world officials, they still haven't won a single dispute. The Pope is still expected to visit Turkey and nothing legal is expected to happen.
