Mildly Suspicious

For all of those who think that a majority of decisions made by the White House are driven by a desire to protect the people, the recent refusal to release the entirety of National Intelligence Report must be another tactic used to protect the people against information that is against their own good. Realistically, this is nothing more than a political decision, indicating that the text of the NIE report is more damaging than President wants to admit. It's more convenient than you might think, considering this would amount to criticize of the government from the agencies prosecuting the intelligence war on terror. Conversely, you could go on thinking that the government has the power to protect us from bad information, that could make us think bad things, and this is all just part of a plan to protect us from things like free thinking that cause terrorism.
