Melinda Duckett ... suicide notes and myspace letter

According to the Leesburg police, the threatening letter sent to Melinda Duckett that contained death threats, threats against her person, and racial slurs was actually sent by Melinda to herself.

Computer experts now believe that Melinda Duckett hacked into his account and
posted the message to set him up.

This does not sound like actions of an innocent person. Whether trauma she went through from the divorce caused her to act in this irrational way, has yet to be determined. But... the stats say that at least 50% of married couples in the U.S. go through divorce and we do not have violent acts happening from 50% of the population.

In her suicide note to the public on page 1, she states that she "usually plans things out" and that the public "created rumors and twisted words". I can see how stress can become overwhelming. I can see how things can get twisted out of context. What I cannot understand is why a mother would take a shotgun into the woods for target practice.

Leesburg police released the names of two men who were with Duckett. One took a polygraph and the other was not required to take one. The police were satisfied with the multiple interviews with the men. It looks more and more like the mommy did it.

It is truly a sad tale and still no toddler has been found.
