A man who was accused and since confessed to hiring hit men to kill his mother is going to escape arrest until next week. The man lives in Brazil where there is a law that makes it illegal to arrest anyone within five days prior to an election and two days after unless they are caught in the act of committing a crime. Though the police want to arrest him for the crime, their hands are tied. The man wanted his mother killed because he says she was squandering his inheritance with her boyfriend. The election will be held on Sunday though and the man will be arrested next week.
