Louis Farrakhan Steps Down From Duties Due To Health "Farrakhan likened his situation to that of Fidel Castro, who temporarily relinquished power because of illness," according to a Fox News report. ""While many rejoiced -- believing and thinking that if Fidel Castro and the Cuban Revolution expired they could move Cuba and the Revolution in a new direction -- his absence from the helm only proved that Cuba will not fall apart over the absence or passing of their illustrious leader,"Farrakhan wrote in the letter." Farrakhan, who has enraged many with his racist and anti-Semetic comments through the years, will be deeply missed, I'm sure, by many practicioners within this particular sect of the religion of peace. The struggle that is sure to come when it is time to choose a new top man should be interesting. It would be a great thing if a person of quality, intelligence and vision, such as Malcom X was, were chosen, but my hopes are not high, judging from the history of the Nation of Islam.
