Inzamam happy even after ban

'Honor' was the ultimately winner in the cricketing saga that rocked the Pakistani team after allegations of ball-tampering.

"We feel totally vindicated," Pakistan Cricket Board chairperson Shahryar Khan told a press conference at The Oval after the ICC hearing. His comment explained the feelings of the entire nation "The decision to clear Inzamam removed the slur on the good name of our team and our country".

In a face-saving exercise, the ICC found Pakistan cricket team captain Inzamam-ul-Haq guilty of bringing the game into disrepute over his side's refusal to play during last month's fourth Test against England and banned him for four one-day internationals, effectively ruling him out of next month's Champions Trophy in India.

At the center of controversy is Aussie umpire Darell Hair, who once again refused to bow before the popular sentiment. He was barred from officiating in the Champions Trophy yet he is full of false pride!
