How Long Will Anna Nicole Smith's Personal Tragedy Displace Real News? At Least Until Oct. 23 Inquest... "The devastation and grief over Daniel's sudden death coupled with the sedation has been so extreme that Anna Nicole experienced memory loss of the event," he [Howard K. Stern, one of Smith's lawyers] said. Stern could not be reached for comment. A possible overdose was suspected in Daniel Smith's death, sources said. But no illegal drugs or paraphernalia were found on his body or at the scene, according to Reginald Ferguson, assistant commissioner of the Royal Bahamian Police Force. The body had no apparent physical injuries, and an autopsy ruled out heart attack and other natural causes of death, Virgill said. Toxicology reports, which would show any levels of drugs, alcohol or toxins in the body, will not be released until the inquest, which is set to begin Oct. 23, Virgill said. During the inquest, witnesses - including Anna Nicole Smith - will testify in court under oath before a jury. If the jury finds that a crime took place, the case will be referred to the attorney general for possible prosecution, authorities said." I am just amazed at how this story is getting international coverage, with so much going on in the world today of real importance. Are we progressing from the dumbing down of America to the dumbing down of the entire world?
