How Have We Not Moved Past Such Thinking? Parents Kidnap Daughter To Allegedly Force Abortion Of Her Mixed Race Baby The accused parents deny the kidnapping, so I guess that the "rope, duct tape, scissors and a .22-caliber rifle" found in their car are just a part of the usual roadside emergency kit in the trunk or just their usual place for storing such useful items. It seems that the parents made New York their destination because "the parents might have thought New York law allowed later-term abortions," as reported by the Boston Globe. Absolutely stunning that parents would allegedly try to murder their daughter's child, their grandchild, at all, let alone because of race. And, yes, the word is child, the word is baby. I've seen far too many ultrasound pictures of my own to deny what it is, no matter how much abortion advocates insist on refusing to call it what it is. What an ugly story.
