Grey's Glitch Angers Viewers

The anticipated season premiere of Grey's Anatomy was basically ruined for all of Canada last week. Many viewers were dazed and confused by the holes in the plot and the inconsistencies when their local network, CTV, accidentally aired the season's second episode rather than the premiere.

The network said the mix up was caused by a "satellite feed error," but it didn't really comfort anyone who had been waiting all summer long for the premiere that had skyrocketed ratings in the U.S. last Thursday.

"Can I just say that CTV is a crappy, irresponsible network?" wrote one blogger online. "I know errors happen, but this is one of the biggest shows on TV these days. (I'm) just not impressed."

"Stupid people who don't know how to push buttons right. I am most seriously displeased," said another.

Many CTV viewers couldn't conclude as to what exactly was wrong with the show.

"We were trying to figure out if they were just artfully leaving some gaps for the viewers to figure out what happened, or if indeed they were airing the wrong episode," said one blogger.

"Now that I know that Canada got next week's episode, I'm going to be frightened of spoilers constantly until next week!" another blogger said.

"If you live in Canada, please don't include any spoilers about the second episode!" begged a blog on the USA Today website.

If you ask me, it looks like someone over in the Disney corporate offices (Burbank, CA where the feeds are transmitted from) is going to be getting the boot this week if they haven't already!
