Goodbye ISS!

After 6 days on board, the Atlantis crew bade a warm farewell to the International Space Station (ISS). In its successful sojourn, the crew unpacked and installed a 17 1/2-ton pair of solar wings that will ultimately generate a quarter of the space station's power.

The wings are first addition to the orbiting space lab since the 2003 Columbia disaster. earlier in the day, the crew woke up to Kenny Loggins' "Danger Zone." After undocking from the ISS, the crew will check out the working of solar panels.

Atlantis is scheduled to return to Earth on Wednesday...until then all fingers crossed!
