Global Warming and Al Gore for President. The researchers say global temperatures have been rising by 0.2 degrees Celsius per decade over the last 30 years. They say the rate of increase could accelerate in coming decades if global energy consumption continues to rise, resulting in ever-larger amounts of so-called "greenhouse gasses" being released into the atmosphere. The global warming issue should no longer be in the research phase. While Mr. Bush wants more studies on global warming he is unaware of the the true picture of global warming and what kind of catastrophy it can bring to the rest of the World. He is more willing to protect the oil companies and other industries that destroy the environment by not signing the Kyoto treaty nor taking any leadership in protecting the environment. However the White House does not realize that if there is a disaster it will spell the end of the humanity. So why not sign the Kyoto treaty and put pressure on China and India and other developing countries to reduce the green house gases. Al Gore is after all right about the environment, perhaps we need Al as our next President who will make a difference in this World and show true American spirit and leadership to the rest of the World. Is that before or after you become part of the solution? Because no matter who is President, it won't matter without that.
