'Get out, Saddam!'

Saddam and his histrionics continued in the court-room drama after the 'sympathizer' chief judge was replaced. While Saddam's lawyers preferred a walk-out to show their dissent over the decision, Saddam chose to argue and confront the new Judge, Mohammed Oreibi al-Khalifa. Result - Saddam ordered to leave the courtroom!

Things heated up when Saddam alleged the dubious past of the new judge. "Your father was in the security (forces) and he went on working as a sergeant in the security until the fall of Baghdad."

The judge also reacted angrily. "I challenge you in front of the public if this is the case!"

The autocratic demeanor of Saddam is reminiscent of his aristocratic presence in his palace in the good ol' days. But Saddam still pretend selective amnesia and take the authorities on, little realising that his conviction is a foregone conclusion. You may delay justice but cannot deny it forever!
