George Bush, The Pope and Crazy U.S. Politics

It's up for grabs as to who is the most evil person in the world today - George Bush or the Pope.

See my previous posts on this here and here.

However, the recent attacks on George Bush and America at the U.N. by Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Venezuela President Hugo Chavez seem to have taken some heat off the Pope.

The rants by Ahmadinejad and Chavez only have to help the Republican chances for holding Congress in the upcoming elections.

In one unlikely turn of events, top Dems seem to have smelled the roses on the effect of the Chavez rants.

Charlie Rangel (D-NY) rushed to the defense of the President and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi called Chavez a "thug".

Read about this here and here. Politics sometimes makes strange bedfellows.

Update - Michelle Malkin reports on a move to boycott oil company Citgo, which is owned and run by the Venezuelan government. Read about it here.
